Which of the two gameplans should Cotto apply against Pacquiao?

Which of the two do you think, gives him a bigger winning chance?

A) Be the agressor, plodding forward, throwing his bodypunches trying to break Manny down

B) Counterpunching approach. Take what he learned from the JMM/Pacquiao fights and apply it, moving around waiting for the counter (I.E. he did some of that vs Mosley)

Floyd-Marquez was a good comeback fight for Floyd, no more -- it was a ridiculous mismatch, Floyd had him in every category and when he chose to ignore the catchweight, there went the one shot Marquez had.

If Pac and Cotto were the same side, this could be a mismatch. Except that they are NOT. Cotto is not just a bigger fighter (which hey Hatton and Oscar were too) he has beaten more quality names at 147 than Pac, he is still in his prime, and has faced very high level competition at welterweight continuously. 3:1 is a GREAT betting line to take Cotto with. I admire your purported prescience with the Pacquaio-De La Hoya match, although like the number of people who saw Wilt's 100 point game, the number of people who picked Pacquaio is much larger in 2009 than in November 2008.

If Pacquaio wins, he cements his place atop the P4P list for sure - no other guy in P4P realm has nearly as good a skin.

I'm a little taller than that. And it doesn't matter how tall I am, I'm not a boxer, and it wouldn't be a boxing match. If you want to fight me, I'll likely have something very hard in my hands to swing at you.

Well, I'll be a b*tch with a 4'11 woman who has no chance of defending herself if I allow myself to get outta control. As for me being a b*tch with the likes of you. I'll be happy to give you an opportunity to treat me like one.

Quintana proceeded to get KTFO in the first round of the Williams rematch making the first fight look very flukey. Mosley was down on one card, and up a point on another heading into the 12th with Mayorga in his next fight after Cotto. As for Clottey, once again, who's he beaten. Hell, he lost to Baldomir who you constantly bust on.
