Which of the two do you think, gives him a bigger winning chance? A) Be the agressor, plodding forward, throwing his bodypunches trying to break Manny down B) Counterpunching approach. Take what he learned from the JMM/Pacquiao fights and apply it, moving around waiting for the counter (I.E. he did some of that vs Mosley) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg7CIhO2GkQ -- Edited by CroatianSensation at 10/25/2009 3:01 PM PDT

The jab is a moot fucking point. Marquez kept Pacquaio at bay by throwing combinations, turning and TIMING Pacman's rushes. I don't see Cotto being able to do that..... wrong again. Marquez open every single combo with very good jab. and Cotto having a great jab great timing and Cotto being counter puncher i think he take beyond what marquez did.

Barrera had an excellent left jab, and an excellent left hand in general. He did very little to Manny with that. Manny has had trouble with guys who fire a lot of rights (Morales and especially JMM), more than anything. Wrong jabs. Barrea Jab was not thjat good thats why morales and him had wars. now marquez Jab is good and look what it did.

Cotto's pops is a better trainer than that young cat thats training him now. You aint see how Miguel Cotto sr. was pointing out Manny's flaws to Cotto's trainer during the late night video session? Cotto's basically training himself out there. Anyway I got faith in my boy and I'm sure Manny will lose. 4 more days before I shave my head bald and go to war. Can't wait!!!! Wrong again. Cotto Sr, was adding his two cent and Santiago was telling Cotto sr manny flaws also. it was a conversation. Roach thinks he's walking god of trainers he's not. watchout Santiago is green but he also has understanding how the Body works he has BS in sport Medicene and he been in involed inboxing for very long time. Instead thinking so much Santiago is a weak link i look at him diffrently I think Santiago is open to change plans and he also has plan a and b and if needed C. Roach just like Floyd Sr blame the fighter when they lose.

The inexperience in Cotto's corner is a major concern for me ....................... if things do go wrong I'm not sure they have the ability to turn things around if it gets messy.

It annoys me when folk mention Baldomir as an example of how a Floyd V Margarito fight would have went. No way does Floyd have as easy a ride with the Margarito who faced Cotto. Margarito would've been looking to maim Floyd Mayweather at every opportunity ............ it's a completely different kettle of fish than Baldosauras. Also, Floyd actually fought Baldomir ........... that tells it's own story. -- Edited by sensetalk at 11/10/2009 11:30 AM PST
