For these reasons:
Strength wise, Hatton will be stronger, so pushing him around coming forward is out of question. That would leave Pacquiao with getting on his toes and trying to box as he did against Delahoya. As good as Pac looked in that fight, it was largely due to what was wrong with Oscar then what was right with Manny.
Manny isn't a good technical boxer, he has speed but no defense like a Mayweather. One thing we know that can hurt Hatton is counter punching. Can Manny counter punch effectively against Hatton? I doubt it.
And if he tries to just come forward and bully Ricky, can you seriously say that he can do any better then a Kostya Tszyu, who is a MUCH bigger puncher then Pacquiao and a overall stronger jr.welterweight.
So he can't outbox him to a 12 round decision because he lacks the technical boxing skills and defense/discipline. He can't hurt Pacman by being the stronger, more powerful puncher because he isn't (Kostya Tszyu, a bigger puncher couldn't do it) and he can't counter punch the way Floyd did and knock him out.
What does that leave him with?

Everyone knows these facts Mzembe and very few care. Fact is, we have an exciting time going on in boxing right now. You can choose to enjoy it, or b*tch about it. Either way, all these cats are 30+, so we have a very small window for this type excitement in the sport. I'm finished defending, I'm just gonna enjoy. ahhhh. the thrill of victory. i love it. i've been a pac fan ever since i first saw him fight, which was his first fight against morales. every single fight, pac was the underdog, with every single boxing forum hating on my boy pac. all i got to say is now, F()CK THE HATERS. where are they now? where are they now??????? silenced. silenced or i guarantee they joined the f()ckin band wagon. even espn anyalyst were giving it to ricky before the fight. EXPERTS in their line of work, one good example, TEDDY ATLAS. predicted a hatton victory. BRIAN KENNY, predicted a hatton victory. I love those guys, but damn, how many people does pac have to beat before your a beleiver? does he really have to fight PBF to prove himself? does he? pacman keeps stepping his game up for ALL the haters to see... and if your still a hater, you'll see.

HAHA!!! funniest post ive seen in a long time. Ok now first of all hatton is no mayweather. Mayweather is not gonna come forward and leave himself wide open like hatton did. Honestly i wanted hatton to win but i knew he wouldnt. I knew he wasn't going to be able to handle mannys speed and pressure. the knockout was inevitable from the opening bell. I give manny all the credit he is due. He proved himself to b a p4p kingpin. But to say that manny will knockout floyd is just plain stupid. First of all manny is NOT FASTER then floyd. ill guarantee you that. Secondly. Floyd has the best defense in boxing hands down. Floyd is the best counter puncher in boxing. And to be honest i think floyd has just as much power or more then manny. He is just a different style fighter. I personally think he would beat manny. based of those facts. Its not a case of the Hatton fans knowing NUTTING. If you support someone from your home you back them no matter what. There was a possibility of Hatton winning if he boxed the right fight if there wasnt why did have the world tune in and watch it. Cos they thought it as gonna be explosive. i myself backed Hatton and in my previous post have 'ate humble pie'. But you gun for a man from your home town even in the back of your mind you doubt they will win. That doesnt necessarily mean you know nothing. That means your just gunning for the wrong man. IF you didnt back your brother then what kind of man would you be. A realist maybe not but a genuine guy YES.

You guys do not learn the lesson, Manny Pacquiao is the best P4P figther there is. He is better than Floyd Mayweather. He has the speed, strenght and the the technical know how in boxing especially with Freddy Roach at his side. All of you who predicted Hatton to win the fight against Manny by a great margin or even knock out, ate your word. You consider yourself an expert analyst in boxing, but in the end you know notting.
With the fight with Manny and Mayweather, if Mayweather does not back out and change his mind. Will be doing the same thing, he will knock out Mayweather and beat him with his own game. Again you guys remmember speed, power, and technical know how in boxing. I hope you learn your lesson.
