As a boxing fan, a 3rd fight HAS to happen........ but the only way the 3rd fight happens is: JMM/Floyd- JMM wins (VERY unlikely) or JMM/Floyd- Floyd wins (Most likely scenario), then Floyd/Pacquiao and Floyd wins......... leading to a JMM/Pacquiao 3 bout......... IF Pacquiao defeats Floyd.......... I can't see Pacquiao facing JMM a third time..........

Pacquiao Getting shown that "Phillipino Love"

Pacquiao Getting Shown that , "Phillipino Love" Philippine government threatens champ with quarantine "The Philippine government told world junior welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao to stay away from his home country for five days because they are worried he wil bring swine flu back with him. In a CNN story, Health Secretary Francisco Duque said Pacquaio, who is currently in Los Angeles, should go into "self-quarantine." As hard as it is to imagine the national idol being forced to do something against his will by politicians, if Pacquiao tries to return to the Philippine capital of Manila too soon, he could be forced into quarantine. "If he can't do that [stay in L.A. in voluntary quarantine], he has to be quarantined here," Duque told CNN. Once Pacquiao can show that he is swine-flu symptom free after five days of quarantine, he will be free to return home. A national celebration was scheduled for Friday, but will likely have to be postponed." www.Boxingtalk.com -- "May we never condemn in a brother, what we would pardon in ourselves..."

pacquia will still win over JMM. with pacquiao having the deadly left and a newly developed dight which is deadly as his left will make JMM an ambitious fighter who want to fight a guy who had outclassed and almost knocked him out.

There is a saying here in Mexico that goes like this......"to be the best, you must beat the best at THEIR best". Pacquiao nor Mayweather have ever done that. Great boxers like Ali, Chavez, Hagler, leonard, Robinson and of course Sal Sanchez did just that, and that is the difference between being great and being good. Sanchez defeated top names in their prime such as Wilfredo Gomez(who hasn't watched that fight), "Little red" Lopez, Azuma Nelson(of course) etc. Chavez did the same, he took care of names such as Chapo Rosario, Mayweather(mexican assassin), Jose Luis Ramirez, Taylor(fight of the decade), Camacho, Haugen(infront of 120,000 fans) etc. He went up on weight to face the #2 p4p and hall of famer by the name of Whitaker and pulled a draw. Mayweather and Pacquiao have never that and yet, we consider them great fighters. People give Pacquiao all the credit in the world for defeating a guy who looked like a dead man walking by te name of DLH who should've retired even before the Hopkins fight. Also, who was Hatton other than an average boxer who had only defeated low to average fighters and whose only big win was against Margarito who was foolish enough to under estimate Hatton. Pacquiao couldn't even beat a declining Marquez whose best years were behind him. But I would like somebody to prove me wrong and give me names of top fighters in their prime whom Pacquiao and Mayweather have defeated and therefore consider these two great boxers. The only guy I can think of Pacquiao defeating who was still in a good stage in his career, was Barrera....other than Barrera there isn't anybody else. World boxing analysts gave both fights to Marquez. Among these analysts are three from the Philipines who also thought Marquez won twice, and requested that Pacquiao should give Marquez a third fight, but guess what....Mr Arum being the business man that he is refused for a third fight, because he knew Marquez would defeat his cash cow...again. Same goes for Mayweather who has never really fought any prime top fighter and whom a guy by the name of Castillo defeated. Marquez is a true great champion who is soon to be 36, and whose best years are clearly behind him and therefore I don't think can beat mayweather.

> BTW, Las Vegas' Kevin Iole scored it 115-112 for > Marquez. Press row judges are usually off. There was quite a bit of talk about Roths score after the fight wondering how he came up with the score he did. Wouldnt be the first time one judge saw the fight completely different than the other two. -- "What good are eyes if the mind is blind?" - Arab proverb -- Edited by GunRunner2 at 05/06/2009 8:55 PM PDT

I DONT JUDGE FIGHTERS BASED ON MY LOVE OR HATE FOR THEM I DONT LOVE OR HATE THEM....I JUST LOVE THE SPORT AND I CALL IT HOW I SEE IT...... knockits12

Kudos to JMM, He is a load. He is the elephant in the room with Pac. Pac needs to tighten it up. I don't see how you move on with that doubt in everybody's mind. I will call him pound 4 pound king if, Jmm beats May and Pac beats JMM. -- See you at the fights !

I remember watching the first fight with my pops, and I thought Pac deserved the decision and he felt Marquez should have gotten the knod. I watched the rematch with my partner, and both of us felt Marquez should have gotten the "W" in that one. Quite frankly, as a Pacquaio fan, I felt he was very fortunate to get a draw and decision in his fights with Marquez. It could very easily be 2-0 for Marquez.

CT, are you blind or what? You see my post where I stated Manny clearly won the 2nd fight? I only pointed out the rounds where they won in my opinion and no way I insisted that Manny won that fight.>>> I'm not blind. My initial response was directed to Gunrunner/Biggie. Then you chimed in and I clarified to you what my point to Gunrunner/Biggie was. Comprende now?

In Pacquiao/Marquez II. I watched the replay on HBO. The judges robbed Marquez of the 6th round. They gave it to PAcquiao and their is no way he should of won that round. Yes. I had that round for JMM. But I can't see either why they gave the 7th to JMM. Manny controlled that round and he landed more power-punches and combo's than JMM.

The point is that the statement "Manny won the second fight clearly" is merely a subjective one; especially given that the official judges were unable to reach consensus on who was the clear winner. Comprende? CT, are you blind or what? You see my post where I stated Manny clearly won the 2nd fight? I only pointed out the rounds where they won in my opinion and no way I insisted that Manny won that fight.
