MAYWEATHER VS. MARQUEZ NEARLY SET FOR JULY 18? Sources close to the situation have just informed us that it's looking more and more like retired pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. will make his return this summer against WBA & WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez. Mayweather was originally rumored to make his return on July 11, the same date as UFC 100, against an opponent yet to be named. Ricky MOVED from his natural weight to go up and fight Fraud. This means that Ricky was not at his ultimate best. So Fraud had the advantage by fighting a smaller man to come up to his weight.
IT TOOK FRAUD 10 ROUNDS TO STOP A SMALLER MAN WHO CAME UP TO HIS WEIGHT!
Pacquiao went up to Ricky's natural weight where he was undefeated at.
IT TOOK PACQUIAO ONLY 2 ROUNDS TO TOTALLY DEMOLISH THE CHAMP OF THE DIVISION!
Fraud lost to Oscar according to one judge.
Pacquiao TOTALLY DOMINATED Oscar and THE ONLY person to stop Oscar other than a BIGGER HOPKINS.

I think that the mayweather vs marquez fight is gonna be good but im disappointed for a few reasons. If marquez loses which seems very likely then i dont kno if we will ever see pacquaio vs marquez 3! which i think every fan is dying to see. I personally think that either marquez or mayweather would beat manny. mayweather would have an easier time tho becuz many does alot of thing that would have floyd licking his chops. Such as being over aggressive at times. mediocre defense and average technical skills. Anyways i am excited to see how this all plays out. With manny waiting in the wings for the winner to set up a end of the year showdown. I feel that win lose or draw that manny should still have to fight both floyd and marquez. The way i see it the p4p rankings go:
1A: floyd mayweather
1B: Manny Pacquiao

THey should all fight eachother and then we can have a clear number one! This is exactly what boxing needs.

I have to admit last nights boxing was shite. Danny williams and Big John what a load of bollocks. Jamie Moore fought a no hoper and then Ricky Lost.
I am never gonna watch another Danny william fight again.
Tony Jeffries looked strong having said that the guy he fought was the cleaner.
Id like to see moore get a title shot for persisitance.

people don't like degale, and to be fair he doesn't have the most likeable personality but he's a talented boxer who i'd have to say is probably the one most equipped to be a world beating pro, whether as you say he has the right attitude to make it is very much open to question
Froch a very good boxer and i picked him to KO taylor, but he just doesn't have enough to be an elite P4P top fighter... but he will give us some cracking fights!
