I think so. It's funny how both camps spin the PPV outcomes. Mayweather has made more against all of he and Pac's common opponents - Marquez (I think his one fight made more than their fights combined lol), De La Hoya and Hatton, yet, naturally Arum, is comparing Cotto-Pacquiao to Mayweather-Marquez...which is apples and oranges. I just hope they fight at 147 and split 50/50 and I could even be cool with Pac (55), May (45)...too much money to through away. http://www.fightinsight.com/2009/11/17/score-one-for-oakland-when-andre-ward-meets-mikkel-kessler/

What up dudes and dudettes?!?! All good points: Mayweather has not fought all the toughest challenges most recently BUT people also don't give him props for some of his recent wins (i.e. Oscar at 154 - much better weight for Oscar-one could argue that's as impressive/more than Manny's against the anorexic version of Oscar); Manny is indeed a once-in-a-generational fighter BUT he's also benefited from fighting guys (sans Cotto) that had already lost to Mayweather (Oscar and Hatton) and one who was in the Baldomir ilk (Diaz); Mayweather has had trouble with quick southpaws (Corley and Judah), so folks should not be shocked if the best quickest southpaw since Sweet Pea (Pacquiao) is able to trouble and defeat him, and lastly, all this posturing ends next year when they meet...who do I think wins? I'll say this, I tend to follow the Money in such weighty matters...speaking of weight, if it's at an official 147 (no catch weight nonsense), Mayweather's chances increase even more. http://www.fightinsight.com/2009/11/17/score-one-for-oakland-when-andre-ward-meets-mikkel-kessler/

Watching the replay of Manny/Cotto. Does anyone else think Manny's dad looks like Ricardo Mayorga?

Tsk, > tsk. > > -- > Edited by tarantadome at 11/17/2009 8:25 PM PST Bruh, I've been a Pacquaio fan since before it was the "in thang" to be. And I don't care how much I like a fighter, I call sh*t like I see it. And when it comes to Mayweather and Pacquaio, they've taken very similar career paths. Problem is, one is criticized for it and one is praised. Don't even take it there with me homie. Hell, its only two fighters in the world I'd pay to see fight a mop, and Manny Pacquaio is one of them. Hell, I ordered Pacquaio-Diaz. And if you pay attention to my post, I've never thought Cotto was that good. So how in the hell was I gonna be in shock because the P4P King beat the sh*t outta him? Pac did what he was supposed to do against a B class fighter.

Even more exceptional with Floyd's boxing expertise, is his pin-point accuracy in cherry-picking beatable opponents...

I been watching Boxing for over 30years, I have never seen the kind of defense displayed like Floyd Mayweather. The Speed and pin point accuracy this fighter has is not been seen over the last two decade This is a problem for the boxing sport be cause there is no other fighter in the welterweight class with a lighting fast Jab to give Mayweather problems. Well I know Pacman Jab won't reach Floyd so After 30year of watching boxing and knowing there is no Jab in that class! I know who win that fight. I don't care much for the out of the ring stuff Floyd does but in the ring there is no better fighter today. Floyd has alot of respect for Marquez. I have Floyd over Pacquiao in 4rounds. The young man swings too wild for Floyd accuracy. I also think Pacman earn a right to fight Floyd. Finally Suger Shane Mosley, If you have to interrupt a fight interview to Beg one of the great fighter ever to fight you that must your no good when your the champion! Beside your too slow and Who likes a cheater anyway.

MMA and UFC need more efforts in order to be the same level with boxing. There's still a big and long gap.
