Marquez was at a different point in his career than Oscar or Hatton was. And Floyd beat them first.... remember that... and floyd beat oscar at his weight class.

Oscar and Hatton both lost to the same former flyweight. If that speaks to their quality as fighters then Floyds wins dont mean shit.

He's a good fighter. I call fighters like Mayweather, Pacquaio,, B-Hop and Marquez A class fighters. I call a primed Mosley RJ and Mosley A class fighters. I call a primed Sweet Pea an A class fighter. While Cotto is good, he isn't in these guys' league. I mean, would an A class welterweight would be picked to get KO'd by a former flyweight. I don't care how great the former flyweight is. You should read my post where I state Floyd is an A++ class fighter............. I have to use A-, A, A+, A++, A+++............ as it's the only way I can separate all the fighters you mentioned above. Anyways, You called Marquez an A class fighter, but not Cotto? Name JMM's biggest victories, and his losses?

JMM is an A class smaller fighter he moved up to fight an A++ Welterweight. Pacquiao is an A+ class smaller fighter moving up to fight an A class Welterweight. Pacquiao has a VERY tough task ahead of him; this fight, on paper, SHOULD be a war, with momentum shifting back and forth............. but something tells me Pacquiao is gonna leave Cotto a bloody mess and on the canvas before the bell rings to end the 6th round.

Hit you're trying to do what I did to you a few months back and your doing a terrible job of it. There are a ton of holes in what you just posted but I'll get back to you on that tomorrow if you're still interested in how to argue the right way without stretching the truth of what the other person posted I'll be glad to tutor you. But until then I'm retiring for today. -- Edited by mr908 at 09/23/2009 10:40 AM PDT

yall are just mad cuz "money may" made the pac/cotto fight look a lil less interesting. now yall want to count his money. in the ring he put on a showcase of skill that even a blind man could see. and now the convo is about who is yall's best hope to beat may. we already know the blueprint to beat either cotto or pac.

908, no fighter has anything to prove to us fans. Every athlete on this planet would prefer the respect of his peers. His gripe is with the racist media. You guys focus on Floyd and ignore our middleweight champ who has been preferring to fight chumps. Manny's record is not dotted with the best and brightest opponents. Cotto was hand picked. Pac would never step in with a true welter if he wasn't washed up. He does not have to. It's funny how times have changed in boxing. That WBO belt is not the lineal title. Mosely has the legit title. It's much ado about nothing. Continue to rant and rave about this but you are wasting your breath. I like Manny as well. It's funny how with one guy, Marquez has a hell of a fight and the other he's outclassed. I don't like triangle theories but the picture is there.
