Is anybody out there a big Movie fan? I'm a huge movie fan, besides boxing and basketball that's another of my big past times. I love this time of the year b/c this is the time when some big movies start coming out. I just recently watched that film 300 and I must say if there was ever a Man's movie that was it. I mean it was nothing but action, no real acting just plenty of good fighting sequences and cool graphics. The film was a bit better than I expected it to be, but not quite as good as everyone says it is.

I couldn't get into 3:10 Yuma. Tried like the dickens, finally sent it back to Netflix having maybe watched the first 30 minutes. I was told once I got past that I probably would have been okay, but I couldn't do it.

American Psycho. That was him? Man, I don't remember him being in that at all. It's been years since I've seen it, though.

Man how many good movies has Bale been in. His work in the Machinist, American Psycho, 310 to Yuma was impecable, lol. Harsh Times would've sucked if not for Bale and gotta give it up to Freddie Rodriguez for that one too.

Have you seen the movie "Harsh Times" with Bale in it? Nothing major but great acting on Bale's part because he had to change his whole accent and act like a "white cholo" from LA.

Great movie imo.

lol The Comebacks was pretty bad, but so have been all the recent spoofs movies that have come out. However that IPOD kid did have me laughing a few times.

Ohh...I also saw the Dark Knight on Blu Ray during the Holidays...

That was a really good movie...

Christian Bale is reaching the point where I'd watch any movie he does...without even reading any reviews on it...

(with apologies to my boy Duplicity of course)

Mystic River was the first movie I've ever seen where I walked away LIKING Sean Penn. Well acted movie all around, though I prefer the book to really capture the mood of the story correctly. In fact, I may have to re-read it.

Jacob's ladder was interesting.

Robbins is good in pretty much everything he is in. I thought his role in Mystic River was incredible.

Isn't he though. One of the freakiest movies I've ever seen. I enjoyed it, but man was it a trip. Afterward, I kind of sat staring at the screen trying to puzzle together what all I'd just seen.

I was watching At The Movies on Reelz Channel last night. Both of the critics mentioned their top 10 movies of 08.

The Wrestler was the number one pic for one of the critics and The Curious Case of Benjamin Burton was the number one pic for the other critic.

I saw Pan's Labyrinth last night. Now that's an overrated film. It wasn't a bad film, but I didn't think it was great. It was worth watching, but no more than just an average movie.

I finally saw Dark Knight. I agree with what most people said already. The first half was boring but the second half was extraordinary. Heath Ledger gave a good performance.

I must say also I saw Jacob's Ladder again recently and that Tim Robbins is one under-rated actor. Man that dude can act his ass off! LOL!
