Is anybody out there a big Movie fan? I'm a huge movie fan, besides boxing and basketball that's another of my big past times. I love this time of the year b/c this is the time when some big movies start coming out. I just recently watched that film 300 and I must say if there was ever a Man's movie that was it. I mean it was nothing but action, no real acting just plenty of good fighting sequences and cool graphics. The film was a bit better than I expected it to be, but not quite as good as everyone says it is.

Finally saw Paranormal Activity last night. Not that scary. And nobody walked out of of the theater scared either. Should have listened to me. I still haven't heard anything good about it. It always drives me nuts when movies like that are #1 at the box office. Everybody that sees them doesn't like them yet they are still #1. I call it the Con-Air phenomenon.

The other night, I saw the movie "The Brothers Bloom" I thought it was an interesting movie, very different. Adrian Brody, Mark Ruffalo, and the woman from the Mummy movies starred in it. It definitely wasn't like anything I had watched before so I enjoyed it. It's a story about two brothers that are con men. It had lots of symbolism in it, and in my opinion was worth watching.

And now you confirmed it. There is no way they can scare me BUT I figure it's worth seeing in the theaters rather than on DVD. Because at least if the movie isn't what it's hyped up to be, you get to see some people scared or crying or walking out of fear......for some extra entertainment.

I am still anxiously waiting to see Wild Things. My daughter has been sick so haven't been able to go yet. Maybe this weekend. Paranormal Activity I'll wait to Netflix, I haven't heard much good about it at all.

jabs, the movie was ok, the problem is when you place yourself in their situation in the movie lol, you gotta ask yourself, how the hell could you be this stupid multiple times! There are some parts that could really freak people out, more so when you leave then when you're there. But to me personally it wasn't a big deal, I slept well, my girlfriend slept well. It was good to see what the big deal was and how a movie on a 15k budget was made. There were some entertaining parts. I say it's worth seeing, I'd just prefer renting it over laying out the money to see it at the movies.

The people I know who liked it and were scared by it are not as intelligent as the people I know who thought it was average/lame.

I saw Paranormal Activity Halloween night. I had three guys sitting next to me scared to death it was a riot, no idea who these guys were but it cracked me up. A woman one row ahead of me was crying hysterically, and people jumped and screamed a few times throughout. I thought it was ok, I could have waited for it to come out on dvd. One woman walked out saying it was a waste of money.
