Is anybody out there a big Movie fan? I'm a huge movie fan, besides boxing and basketball that's another of my big past times. I love this time of the year b/c this is the time when some big movies start coming out. I just recently watched that film 300 and I must say if there was ever a Man's movie that was it. I mean it was nothing but action, no real acting just plenty of good fighting sequences and cool graphics. The film was a bit better than I expected it to be, but not quite as good as everyone says it is.

I saw Michael Jackson's This Is It. It was a bit of a revelation. MJ seemed to be in very good shape and the concerts would have blown people's minds. The choreography, stage design, special effects...all top notch. And Mike's voice was in great form. Too bad the world never got to see it.

I saw the movie "The Proposal" last night, I liked it, good romantic comedy to watch with a girl or in general lol. Sandra Bullock looked good in it too, I never thought much of her in the past but I liked what I saw last night.

ive said it once...ill say it again....... CGI has got to go!!!!! i want to see REAL stunts,REAL props and REAL effects!!!!!! PERIOD. fully animated flicks get by(like disney & pixar flicks for kids) but in a live action/horror/sci-fi flick.............those producers wanting to use CGI should look at the most recent RAMBO movie as a guide.........use it to add extra blood-spatter/flames/etc......CGI is like parsley...its meant as a garnish....not as a main course!!!!!! WTF!!!! Im soooo sick of seeing what-would-be good movies ruined by this bullshit!!!!!~~~end rant

I am still anxiously waiting to see Wild Things. My daughter has been sick so haven't been able to go yet. Maybe this weekend. Paranormal Activity I'll wait to Netflix, I haven't heard much good about it at all. I don't know how old your daughter is but like I said it's not a movie for children but a movie about children. It will be interesting to hear her view of the movie and see if a kid can grasp it. Even if she doesn't get the symbolisms I think she will still enjoy it, it has a cool feel to it just like the book did. It's pretty funny, too. I hope you like it.

Finally saw Paranormal Activity last night. Not that scary. And nobody walked out of of the theater scared either. Should have listened to me. I still haven't heard anything good about it. It always drives me nuts when movies like that are #1 at the box office. Everybody that sees them doesn't like them yet they are still #1. I call it the Con-Air phenomenon.

The other night, I saw the movie "The Brothers Bloom" I thought it was an interesting movie, very different. Adrian Brody, Mark Ruffalo, and the woman from the Mummy movies starred in it. It definitely wasn't like anything I had watched before so I enjoyed it. It's a story about two brothers that are con men. It had lots of symbolism in it, and in my opinion was worth watching.

> I saw Paranormal Activity Halloween night. I had > three guys sitting next to me scared to death it was > a riot, no idea who these guys were but it cracked me > up. A woman one row ahead of me was crying > hysterically, and people jumped and screamed a few > times throughout. I thought it was ok, I could have > waited for it to come out on dvd. One woman walked > out saying it was a waste of money. I read some reviews about several people walking out in the middle of the movie, not because it was crap but because they got so scared. And now you confirmed it. There is no way they can scare me BUT I figure it's worth seeing in the theaters rather than on DVD. Because at least if the movie isn't what it's hyped up to be, you get to see some people scared or crying or walking out of fear......for some extra entertainment.
