Yea because he challanged Floyd, he doesn't know shit. Sure OK.

In my book, if you have the wit to use Danish Brian Nielson, who used to be 40+ and 0 at one point, to make a point about undefeated records.......YOU KNOW YOUR SHIT ABOUT BOXING.

Just because he didn't have his laptop in front of him like all of us message board warriors, to go on boxrec and get his time line about Mosley's 1999 record correct, doesn't mean he knows nothing about boxing.

jabs, I like Mayweather because he's a great fighter. Honestly, I find his Money May persona very annoying. I juts think the whole notion that he hasn't fought top competition is bullsh*t. This guy started fighting back in 1996. Yet, the ones doing to most talking only seem aware of his career since he fought de la Hoya.

I am one fan who has never given much of a shit about what any athlete has to say.

I really don't give a crap what Floyd says, but I do find it interesting that certain Floyd fans LOVE how brash he is....but then think talk is worthless or WRONG when he's questioned about things.

The only thing I'm not keen on is people who think they know boxing and don't know sh*t. And it irrates me a little more when someone who's boxing IQ is very limited, and he hollas and screams like he's Bert Sugar, who by the way has absolutely no problem with Mayweather's opponents.

You aint gotta school me about the business side of boxing. I know all that.

This is about your type of fan. Apparently you're not too keen on seeing your favorite fighter get challanged with hard questions. Ruggedman said what whole stew of boxing fans point of view is. Not that he was right on everything, but it's good for boxing and fans seemed to have enjoyed it nonetheless. Even those who are Mayweather fans

fLOYD WILL FIGHT MANNY PAC RIGHT AFTER HE LOSES TO cOTTO.

Specially if Manny loses by ko. Because Manny would still be huge name and the fight would sell.

and Cotto vs mosely will happen again.

Or Cotto vs Manny rematch will happen.

Well Cro, I understand that we won't get the best available fights if the money isn't there. Mayweather isn't gonna fight Pacquaio, Mosley, Cotto,, P-Dub or any other elite unless he feels that the risk is worth the reward. And he isn't alone. Pac hasn't wanted a third fight with Marquez. Well, he hasn't wanted a third fight until Marquez took what appeared to be a career altering ass whippin'. Mosley flat out said he didn't want any part of Dub. And Pac and Mosley didn't want those fights because the risk wasn't worth the reward. So in the grand scheme, a so-called hardcore fan shouldn't be screaming to the high heavens that Mayweather is ducking the world. Because if his marketability goes down, so does the chances of us seeing him in those superfights we crave. Because he's already shown that he doesn't give a rat's ass about what people think of him. So trying to humiliate him isn't gonna make him fight anyone.

Well their point of view is that Floyd is hurting the sport by not fighting the best. Floyd himself could care less about the sport as he already stated that boxing will be dead without him.

Why are you worried about the sport dieing anyway? It doesn't effect or prevent you form watching it ,while there is a commercial during a football game of course.

Are you saying Floyd should never be challanged during a interview? Ruggedman claims to be a paying fightfan who orders PPV's. So he (a paying custumer who contributes to Floyd's paychecks) should bite his tongue and look at the larger picture so he doesn't hurt the sport?

ROFL, get real.

This unknown made himself look stupid; cursing and yelling way before Floyd started to raise his tone. On top of that, nothing he said about Boxing was true, naming only fighters of the past and not their accomplishments or who they fought, just naming their names.

You can't take this guy seriously when he says things like Mosely just came off a loss to Vargas, or Bernard fought everyone (not including that his biggest fights were against smaller men), the very thing Floyd is being accused of.

Lame attempt at publicity.

I'm not offended. Honestly, I don't care what anyone says I feel Mayweather is the best fight I've seen. And I feel as if he's fought top competition throughout his career. My thing is so-called boxing fans who think that they are "informed", and they're not. And because they go out, and do bullsh*t like this, it turns casual fans off. A casual fight fan doesn't know Shane Mosley from Juan Manuel Marquez, so they don't really give a sh*t about who Mayweather fought. But, when a hardcore fans goes out and says Mayweather is ducking Mosley, and that Marquez is some old, little bum, its a turnoff, and may end up costing the sport fans.

It's good for the sport because we're talking about it. Good or bad publicity is still publicity.

A quiet interview where Floyd gets to talk about Philthy Rich records and his team doesn't do nothing for the sport either.

So you don't understand why fans get offended by what Floyd Mayweather is saying but you are offended that he got called out/challanged during a interview?

Is that what it is?

No, its just another attempt to discredit the biggest star in the sport. And not because the interviewer was right, but because Mayweather is incapable of conducting himself like an adult when someone challenges him, Mayweather always comes off looking bad. And for a sport dying for stars, I don't see how a so-called hardcore fan thinks its a good thing trying to sh*t on the only active fighter in the sport most non-boxing fans can name.

Why do people get offended about him dismissing fighters of the past? You either think he was better than them or you don't. What Mayweather says is irrelevant as to where someone thinks he rates all-time.
