It was a funny show. They showed Pacquiao busting several jack o lanterns, hanging from the ceiling with his fist.

Pacquiao hangs around with 30 entourage. Everyone in his entourage has an assignment. He shares an apartment with 8.

He got the name Pacman' by the way he fights. His dog's name is Pacman.

The fighting sticks are used to desentized pain. I'm not convinced that it works. Kimmel joked, once Pacman has 40 mil. in the bank, he longer has use for the sticks.

I missed the show but caught some of it on youtube. I did catch the singing part. It sounded more like karaoke.'L

Did any of ya'll see Pacquiao on the Jimmy Kimmel Show last night?

They showed Pacquiao punching out a row of Halloween pumpkins...he did his interview with Kimmel....and then later he sang "Sometimes When We Touch" with Kimmel's band. (It sounded like really bad karaoke.)

There seemed to be a lot of Phillipino audience members and they showed Manny a lot of love and chanted his name at the end.

Pacman has been showboating during his workouts. I've spoken to a couple of Filipinos co-workers at my workplace and one stated, that Pacquiao has several homes in the Philippines but hardly stays in any of them.

It appears like Pacman under-estimated Miguel Cotto. He didn't even came here to practice until only a few weeks ago.

It's been a while since Pacman was selling cigarettes in the street to buy him his meal. Obviously, Pacman is no longer hungry... :O

Pac's always come off as a little arrogant to me. That's when I laugh when people kinda view him as the anti-Mayweather. Pac's attitude going into this fight reminds me of how he went into the Barerra rematch. I don't think he's taking Cotto very seriously. Which means he may not be at his best, but I think he still wins pretty easily.

I got to watch the first episode a few days ago, I don't know if it's just me, or did anyone else get the impression that Pacquiao seems to have a bigger ego now than he did back when he fought Hatton? He seemed more arrogant to me, and it bugged me because he looked to be much more humble in the past. I could be wrong in perceiving that change but that's what I got out of it.

I'm not a big fan of Freddie Roach, don't really like him for some reason--but you've got to admit that Pacqiao has become a better boxer under his tutelage. Look at Pac Man's fights from a few years back and although you can still see the massive and impressive activity, the arc of his punches was considerably wider. He threw like a windmill, but it was a rather wide and somewhat looping windmill. Don't get me wrong-- he was effective. But the truth is, in his last fights he's throwing tight accurate punches in nice combinations and his lateral movement has improved as well. He is a better boxer, and I don't think it's a coincidence that Roach is there. They seem to have worked well together.

As for Roach insisting on being in command-- he's a trainer, that's what he's supposed to do. I'm sure there are many boxers who have trained themselves, but Boxing history is filled with boxers who have grown too big for their trainers and filled the role with yes men--only to find themselves on the canvas without a belt.

The trainer/boxer relationship is an intimate one. They spend a lot of difficult time together in pursuit of a difficult goal. Give Roach the benefit of the doubt--the credit of his success-- have some belief that he has, over time, come to know what works for Manny Pacqiao. At least until it doesn't.

Professor, for every action there's an equal or opposite reaction. Manny catches Cotto with a game changing uppercut, Cotto throws a ball buster for good measure.

How is this not a good plan? Cotto has had the hardest time with Margo and Clottey, guys that backed him up. Margo stopped him and Clottey ran out of gas. Manny punches harder than these guys and is faster, if they're going to beat him this should be the game plan. The let Cotto come to them and little Manny gets his ass knocked out.

Really?

Clottey a middle weight and Magro with plaster and manny hits harder, take the pino nuts outtve your mouth for sec.... you're burning to many brain cell.

Body, Margs and Clottey can take hard ass shots and eat em like nothin. Margs is a big welter and Clottey be fighting at 170. 25 pounds is a huge difference in weight between what Pac will weigh in during the fight with Cotto compared to Clottey and those 25 lbs makes up for a lot of cushion to soften Cotto's blows at the point of attack which Clottey says still hurt him.

Pac better not try and rush Cotto as if he's one of those welterweight monsters or he's gonna find out real quick that Freddie's gamble to try and rush Cotto backfired and blew up in his face. Anyway Roach is just running his mouth and throwing tons of crap out there hoping that Cotto takes the bait.

There's no way they're gonna argue for a bigger ring and then try and rush Cotto. That makes zero sense whatsoever. This is merely an attempt to keep our mouth watery by continuing to talk about the matchup while we wait for this fight and at the same time an attempt to try and penetrate Cotto's psyche. Roach throws us a bone every now and then and we're quick to disect and talk about it.

But the bottom line is Cotto will be doing all the hunting come Nov 14th. Roach is just talking sh*t.
