NO SURPRISE, MAYWEATHER SR. TRAINING RICKY HATTON

As previously reported in July, world-renowned trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. will indeed be training former jr. welterweight king Ricky Hatton for his upcoming clash with Paulie Malignaggi. "When I get my hands on him, he will use his head more and not get beat up. He will learn defense," Floyd Mayweather Sr. revealed to fans during a FightHype chat session back on July 22nd.

Crock of sh*t.

Floyd VS. Pac/DLH does GREAT numbers...."The Fans" will pay to see it.

Margarito...Williams...or Cotto VS. Mayweather doesn't do those kind of numbers.

Sounds like whispers in the dark to me, I haven't seen or heard of anything remotely referring to Floyd returning to the ring anytime soon.

Personally I'll be glad when the dude is gone from the sport for good and boxing can return to the great sport it once was.

I would not be surprised in the slightest if Floyd came back for the winner of Oscar/Pacman.

It's a big money fight you couldn't really blame him for taking, but it's not what the fans want to see.

Fighting a live contender would be better, ie Cotto, Marg, Williams ......

Niall Hickman wrote the article I read, not sure if it has any substance (probably not), but I did mention a while ago that Hatton frequently talks about another fight with Floyd .....

That's a big incentive for all involved, but somehow I don't think Paulie would ever get a sht at Floyd.

He wouldn't last 5 ....

I wonder what people will say if Paulie breaks his right hand in the second round and has to jab his way to a unanimous decision with his left hand for the rest of the fight.

I'm sure IF he does lose the excuse would would most likely have to do with his fragile hands.Via by breaking one.....

Saw Paulie on TV last night, as suspected, he looks in great shape for this.

He seems very confident too, again as suspected.

Hopefully Ricky now destroys him, but Buddy McGirt doesn't think so, they reckon Paulie is in his best ever condition, I guess there'll be no excuses if the magic man loses ..........

Yeah but Hatton was hurt like a Mofo and tried to clinch/punch at the same time or something but Collazo just moved and Hatton fell into the corner. I call it a knockdown and i STILL had Hatton winning that fight.
