I originally picked the Phils in 6 (before it started), and then merely pointed out the TREND the Phillies have shown. Thought it possible, but never said it would be so. Unlike you, I operate on what I am seeing, and not what my little heart tells me.

Sure, and the Phillies have won game one of every one of their series the past two years. Believe me, I'm a one-game-at-a-time guy....so I wasn't getting too excited, especially knowing how weak the Phils' pitching was in the middle of the WS rotation.

I'm not on board with that actually. Its possible with Lee pitching that the Phillies get a legit win tho.

Absolutely no professional team would purpopsely lose a game just to get their potential clinching victory at home. The Phillies are to dangerous a team (still) to give that to.

They'll hit Lee tonight better than they did in the first game he pitched. The combination of the Yanks finally coming out of their hitting drought, and Lee coming in after a short rest, may be just what's needed for the series win tonight ? GO Yankees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........

Shoot, I didn't realize Lee was pitching tonight. If not tonight, they should take it tomorrow. What's Lee on 4 days rest? Because Sabbathia was on 3 right? Lee's been incredible this year but maybe it's his time to have an off night lol.

I have to say...you have to give Matsui some major props. The HR he hit against Pedro was ridiculous. Pedro could not have thrown a better pitch, down super low inside, after having hit the outside corner, on a 1-2 count....and Matsui hits it out. I was like WTF. Anybody else either strikes out (like A-Roid did in the at bat prior to Matsui's) or at best hits a ground ball to first base. Pedro was pitching something nasty...and yet Matsui got him.
