This forum should only be used to post "Bugs": System problems and/or technical issues. When reporting bugs, please include a detailed description of the problem as well as the information listed below. The more information you can provide, the faster we can work to resolve your issue. Thanks! 1. General description of the problem: (ie: spellcheck wipes out my post) 2. Operating System: (ie: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98, OS X, OS 9, etc.) 3. Broswer Type and Version: (IE 6, IE 5, Safari, Firefox, Netscape, etc.) 4. Timestamp of when the problem occurred: (the exact time of the error occurrence is very helpful) 5. Exact steps to reproduce the bug: (wrote a post. clicked on spellcheck button. my post instantly disappeared. OR...waited 45 seconds, nothing happened, so I clicked 'cancel' and my post disappeared.) 6. Is the bug repeatable? (ie: can you try the same actions a few minutes later and it still doesn't work correctly?) ie: tried the same actions 5 minutes later and my post still disappeared...OR...tried it 5 minutes later and it worked.) 7. Attach a screenshot of the error (if possible)

Add to this, the number of repeated names, duplicate posts, and those that generate a maximum of report abuse. Server and labor intensive.

How about it admins.....a little house cleaning is in order.....can we combine the 87 dylan threads, 15 beatles threads. 9 best movies lines, 14 best music lines, and the 107 other music threads into 1? Then toss them into the garbage....as oblada would say....it would save you a ton of money and labor.

Rumor has it that its part of a new "Thread Control" rule that limits the number of threads on a forum. They really need that over on Bill Maher....every time someone has a thought, its a new thread. I guess its one way of getting attention.

I tried on Real Time and got the page for the new thread, so it must be limited to Sopranos. Not sure if anyone else is affected as well.

Here it is. Error Error: you don't have permission to view the requested forum or category. Why can I not create another thread?

Not sure what's going on but I accidentally clicked 'New Topic' in the Sopranos Memeber threads. I got an error message saying, "You are not authorized......' So I tried again, and got the same thing. I'll try on another board, but is there a reason I can't create a new topic?

It used to be that when I clicked on "Log In" it would automatically log me in. For the past couple of months, I get sent to the registration page and have to put in my Password. I check the Remember Me box, but it doesn't make any difference.

Hi-- Thanks everyone for your input. The core issue was a caching problem that should be resolved, but please do let us know if you continue to see anything abnormal. We really do appreciate the bug reports btw--and no, we're not trying to mess with ya. When doing system maintenance, there are some issues that just don't arise until you go live with the changes. So when you report something, it helps us spot the problem and resolve it more quickly. If I could, I'd give a lollipop to every one of you for helping us fix the issue. Have a great weekend!
