Never in my life have I been so mesmerized by a television program. I own the first 2 seasons and was devastated when I found that there was no closure to this work of art. I find it almost sickening to see so many low-brow series soar through the ratings while masterpieces like this are thrown to the curb. Apparently HBO decided that season 2 was an appropriate end to this saga, however, they could have gone so in-depth as to thoroughly revisit the past in "the old country." The only positive aspect of their decision in my eyes was that it inspired me to write my own version from beginning to end. I'm still curious and deeply hurt, though, as are many other fans.
