Petition For Season Three

This is a petition for Season Three.
Please post here, if you want to see a third season.
There is no need to post anything special, or to put your real name or anything like that--HBO has all that, after all.

We, the undersigned, want to see the story of Carnivale play out as written. Please continue Carnivale for a third season.

Absolutely and enthusiastically I do, and the Mister, too ! We break out the Carnivale DVD's from time to time just to get away and be absorbed by its powerful writing and acting, but we would welcome a new season of Carnivale, actually several more seasons would suit.

Yes!! and hurry up already! I loved that series and the last episode was great! When I found out the show was terminated I wanted to do the heads of HBO like Brother Justin did to Brother daddy Walton, forgive me the show has been gone for a long time!
HBO needs to do the right thing and finish the project properly and sort out the problems with personal they had after season 2!

I really can't understand how you can stop the most impressiv series, I have ever seen. This is a big managment mistake to shut down the best series HBO ever produced. So please don't do such things, the story must be told. So give us the end of the story. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Never missed this when it was on...could only hope they could get the actors back together that made this series so great....but like John from Cincinnati, they just cut our n-ts off once we got hooked. Two great series. Love to see Carnivale back.

Likewise...I Googled the question that brought us all here and made this petition for Carnivale, "Why isn't there a season 3?" Even signed up just to put my thoughts up on a site. I hope HBO takes the time to hear the ones left waiting for the continuation of this series.
In a time where broadcast television is trying to keep up with premiere channels like HBO and the others we come along those shows that just make you sit down and get lost in the wonderment of it all....television that is.
Those moments that either took your breath away or made you curl up next to someone. I have had the pleasure this summer of watching Carnivale. Through the twists and turns, the relationships that kept you on the couch for the next episode. A fantasy land of mystical powers and walking the line of disbelief.
In the real world pulling away from the characters the technical side is equally as compelling; from the focus shots, the acting, the wardrobe, props, all of it used to entertain us and bring to life the world Mr. Knauf has sculpted in only 2 seasons.
?Only fair to let a man tell his story to the end...." Well HBO has given us something and as short lived as it was there has to be some closure! With shows endlessly winding out the same dribble, copy-cats, and knock off series, and constant sequels in the movies, the people have spoken and their words are all the same...."Season 3!"
Think about it: 12 episodes to tie knots and wrap up all conclusions, all rumors, it would be the only suiting finish to keep the carni-pious duality that you have balanced for two seasons. The number 3 has such a ring to it...does it not? Jesus rose on the 3rd day. Brother Justin, ferociously depicted by Mr. Brown, has a chance to rise into a more powerful character with his bastard child at his side. As always the Carni-folk and their follies as well as their triumphs can only be surpassed by the demise of Carnivale. Make it a Greek tragedy but give us something to think about. You've thrown us curves through the series might as well set the fans straight with a good ending.
Fans of Carnivale "rise up brothers and sisters" lets see what fans of a show can do.....write and request and hope that someone in the higher ups sees the potential of picking up the pieces of Carnivale and what has in store for them.

Aaaah! I just started this show, became hooked and finished season 2. I didn't know it was canceled! HBO, are you listening? Are you willing to consider a season 3? Come on people, if fans could get Designing Women back we can get Carnivale! Anyone who has some great ideas how we can get the point across to HBO?

When the first season was playing I saw just part of 1 episode during a free preview weekend. I was hooked! I bought the first season as soon as it came out on DVD, same for the second. Please, please, please make a season 3!! This show is loved by everyone that I know and it upsets up deeply that it doesn't have a proper ending.

This show is the whole reason why I have HBO!!

I bought the Carnivale DVDs two summers ago, and I probably watched both series in 2 weeks! I found them incredibly captivating, and perhaps it was a tad too slow at parts, that did have a role in adding to the mysterious quality of the show.
Here I am, three years later, still wishing that I could see more of that world. The season 2 finale was everything I hoped it would be incredibly dramatic, however, it created so many open endings, which will never now be explored. I think I have the same sentiment of many others that the final episode was not written in order for the entire show to end there. The unsolved and new components to the story are yearning to be told. I wish your network would do something to bring the series some more closurer, through a 3rd season, mini-series, short movie, etc. I know it's probably too late, since I know production stopped long before I even saw the series on DVD. Let it be said, however, if HBO decided to do something to bring back Carnivale in some shape or form, I was be sooooo happy [ :) ], and it would definitely be a motivation for me to purchase a subscription to their network. so that's all, I've probably already said too much, thank you.
