I grew up knowing carnies...and this show made them real people, not freaks as they were once referred as...
Don't we all have a little magic in us...hidden demons... and this show brought them out to play....
Great filming and actors... I am so impressed...great casting and writing...
Money...pfff...I got cable to watch this....and I am canceling cable without it....
And then there is the DVD sales..... Hello...do you remember Roswell?...big mistake then and not having season 3 big mistake now...
No matter what you do the fans will continue...it is after all about our Americana lost....in this politically correct world....
Don't mind me... I grew up with some of the greatest people in the world... Carnies!

My Fiancee and I love this series and wish that a few more seasons would be picked up. We actually just finished watching the 1st 2 seasons and want more.
Please, Pretty Please with Cherries on top pick up a few more seasons (with the same actors).

We also missed Carnivale during it's run and watched it obsessively for the last two weeks. Why was a series with this potential cancelled? HBO has many less deserving projects and Carnivale is still gaining audience after all this time.
Huge error on someone's part. We know it was cancelled and still are eager to see the last few episodes. That is the definition of great television.
Pick up a few years after the story left off and finish it.
We are going to be a lot more careful about watching any HBO series in the future. Why commit ourselves to excellent programming if you are going to pull the plug. We can watch the movies when they come out on video so why pay for HBO at all?

I was hearthbroken when carnivale was canceled and HBO hasnt had a show to mach the intensity of Carnival ever since...Not only that but the story line was far from being properly addressed...
Anyways...sorry for the rant but I guess I'm still bitter about the whole thing....

Just started watching Carnivale a few weeks ago and am already caught up. I Haven't been this dissapointed in a series ending with plot lines not being tied up since The Riches. Please bring this show back, as its up on the top with the other HBO shows that dominate television and deserves to be finished as it was intended.

I want "Carnivale" back!
I'm dying to see the untold 4 Seasons cause the frist two alone are so fantastic that it's my FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME and the one and only I concieder as true art.
I want it back - I want to see Lodz coming back "in flesh", want more of Brother Justin, would really love to see more of Samson and Ben Hawkins and of course the rest of the epic and mysterious storyline...

Daniel Knauf : "I've got 48 programming hours of Carnivāle in my head, and I've got a feeling that someday someone will let me finish the story. It was conceived as a television series, and that's the way I feel it needs to be told. Maybe a series of features. Graphic novels would be a good second choice. Marvel was very interested in continuing the story as a graphic novel. I was too. HBO, though, put the kibosh on the project. I really don't understand why, and they've never offered an explanation that makes any sense. Maybe you should ask them."

Do I need to add anything ? Dan Knauf is really passionate about Carnivāle, and to my mind the show that deserves the most to return is Carnivāle : Rome, and even Deadwood, have had decent endings, and when you read that Dan Knauf has every missing episode of the series in his head, and apparently those HBO executives won't give him the rights to his own show...
Bring back Carnivāle !

Oh, and I forgot to add one thing. Yes, I am a fan of Trueblood, but I happen to think that if Carnivale were on at the same time as Trueblood that it would get way more viewers. The story is much more appealing and so much more unique! I could relate to the characters more in Carnivale! BRING IT BACK PLEASE!!

So, my boyfriend had seen Carnivale when it first came on tv, he had been looking for the seasons everywhere and I found them. He wanted me to watch them with him. The story sounded appealing.
When I watched them, I literally could NOT STOP WATCHING! I was HOOKED! How could a show like this not be completed!? I watched the two seasons in ONE WEEK! Then I was so excited to watch the finale and then... it was a huge let down ONLY because I found out that there was no more seasons after that. That would have been a great cliffhanger for the end of a season leading up to a new season, but not to end a series! Come on! Please finish the series!

I just started watching this on the advice of a friend. I was totally hooked. I watched two seaons in two weeks. I couldn't get enough. This is a great show - better than most fluff that's on TV now. The acting is great, the sets and design are great, and the directing is great. Please HBO, bring this show back to life, if not to continue for the amount of seaons that were set, then to tie up the loose ends.
