Who wants Carnivale back on air in 2008?

This is a petition for Season Three.
Please post here, if you want to see a third season in 2008.

There is no need to post anything special, or to put your real name or anything like that--HBO has all that, after all. After Sopranos, HBO really needs something good on air!!! Or there will be mass subscription cancellation.

We, the undersigned, want to see the story of Carnivale play out as written. Please continue Carnivale for a third

Dear HBO,

I last posted in this thread a year and a half ago. I thought I should check in again to re-state my position.

I canceled HBO and switched to Showtime when I first posted for reasons I won't repeat except for my outrage over the cancellation of Carnivale. I have never looked back and I have no regrets. I will never go back to HBO unless something is done to allow for the continuation of Carnivale, if not on HBO then in some other format. Please let it go and sell the rights if you have no intention of ever bringing it back.

How about a series of novels or even a computer animated version in the style of Star Wars: Clone Wars. Perhaps this would be far less expensive to produce than a live action series while still being visually spectacular and believable.

Once again, HBO....sell the rights or bring it back. Don't deprive the thousands upon thousands of loyal fans of this classic story. If you do this, I will come back in good faith.

Thank you for your consideration.

I want "Carnivale" back!

I'm dying to see the untold 4 Seasons cause the frist two alone are so fantastic that it's my FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME and the one and only I concieder as true art.

I want it back - I want to see Lodz coming back "in flesh", want more of Brother Justin, would really love to see more of Samson and Ben Hawkins and of course the rest of the epic and mysterious storyline...

I would sure like to see it come back. I've just rented Season 1 and Season 2 from Netflix. I very much want to see the story told properly. LET'S SEE ALL SIX SEASONS!

I only watched the show because a friend bought me season 1 for Christmas 08. 'You must must must watch it.' I didn't, but in March, for my birthday, I received season 2 from the same friend. Well, this was serious then! I watched episode one, and immediately knew this was genius, and exactly my thing. And I do mean exactly.

As my friend knows, I wrote a spec script myself in 1999, about a carnival and a devil preacher, (although in my story he was battling against a young female tarot reader and her conflicted lesbian Christian girlfriend, and it was set in the present) Carnivale is infinitely better than my attempt. I've watched both seasons through now, and tonight watched the finale episode, and can say I love Carnivale as much as Stephen King's novels, as much as the first three Star Wars films, as much as the first Matrix film, which is to say, I love it as being one of the best genre stories ever.

Such a shame that something as cynical as Lost gets to carry on and on, while something with as much respect for storytelling and character as Carnivale doesn't.

Even more of a shame that virtually the last thing Daniel K says during the panel interview is that the last thing a reader of a long novel would want is for an exec to take that novel from their hands when they were halfway through it. He was confident HBO wouldn't do that. But they did.

Would love to see either a new season or a follow-up movie to provide some closure to this great series.

Carnivale is the best show i have seen in a while, even if i only discovered it recently. I REALLY wish you would bring it back on the air, or at least send out a story line so we can know what happens...I REALLY NEED TO KNOW!!! IT left off in such a bad cliff hanger

I found the box set of this series at a garage sale a few weeks ago for $5.00, can you believe that? I thought it'd be something to watch on one of those nights where nothing but reruns were airing on every channel. I figured if I didn't like the first few episodes, I'd find someone here, or somewhere else who wanted the two seasons, but wasn't in any position to be spending money on Amazon, or even Ebay, and just give the box set to them.
I wish I would have started watching this sooner! This is a gem! I have a few favorite programs I'll always watch, but even they seem so.....generic compared to this. I used to laugh when I'd read reviews that said "The characters made me feel as if I were right there next to them." I know what people mean now when they say this, because that's what I felt watching "Carnivale." I can almost feel the heat, smell the sweat, and taste the dirt.
All of the actors in this are brilliant, but the one that stands out the most to me is Clancy Brown. I remember seeing him in "Love, lies, and murder", he pretty much plays the same kind of character in that.
I watched the very last episode about an hour ago, and I think I'll start again, and take my time. I'd watch three episodes in a row, not being able to wait and see what happened next. I'm sure there are some things that I missed while trying to cram so many of them in in on day. I can't believe that this was canceled, it has so much potential!
