we definitely need to see more close ups, bend overs and spread shots on these beautiful women-it isn't porno--its art. coed conf. shows some good close ups but they sure need more. Naked Revenge was one hot movie-I'd sure like to see more of that--heck-if T.V. is worried about kids seeing this at night--they should see what the internet has to offer. and I must say the close ups of the oral sex is smokin hot--keep up the good work.

I would really like the show if we did not get the same shot we basically get, we see all of the women body parts and with the men the same ole butt and chest shot. How is it years later from when I initially got cable the same type of shows are on, which are for men. When will you finally do a show geared a little bit towards women. We like to have something to look at to, can I get at least one front shot. Take for example Alien Sex Files, it is really graphic from the women being nude to actually showing them play with themselves. How is it you can show that but we can see the bare minumum on a man, its ridiculous!

Couldn't find where else to post so I guess it's here.
Just got through scanning the second episode of lingerie. Haven't seen the first one. All I did was just scan through it, as if the visuals don't grab me I just won't make the next leap and watch it, so perhaps the story/dialogue is quite good.
But I must say it was disappointing. It seemed exactly the same as every late night cinemax program I've seen since I first got cable in 1987. It's amazing that the editing standard used in 2009 is the same as in 1989.
It had everything I detest about late night programming. All the scenes have that urine colored lighting. Why they feel making things appear yellow is sexy is beyond me. Just have decent lighting where you can actually SEE what the hell is going on.
Second, there's something wrong when you're watching a half hour adults only show and there is NO FRONTAL NUDITY for the entire program. Again we get that same technique of having a girl stand sideways when the panties come down or simply a rapid cut to the girl nude but in a position where the crotch is never seen.
Just like having a girl take her top off but never showing her tits would be pointless, so is having a girl remove her panties only to never see her lower body. Just dumb.
Also, when doing softcore, one of the hottest things is not the simulated sex, but just watching women walk around naked. For example in tonight's episode when one of the characters gets up to get a blanket she's wearing GRANNY PANTIES. Why not have her nude.
To sum up, strictly from a visual point of view, at least in this one episode, it really sucked. Get some normal lighting. Have scenes start with the girl dressed and SHOW her disrobe, not using camera gymnastics to avoid crotch. And in general get some FULL nudity in the show where you showcase the girl's whole body, rather than having each scene be a collection of close-ups of the dude's back.

Just finished watching 1st episode of max' new series "Lingerie"...was pretty hot...was wondering tho if anyone knew the name of the model named Cindy in the first episode...she was smokin hot.

Who doesn't like models in lingerie? Quality softcore from John Quinn with the occasional little extra naughtyness thrown in or not edited out, one might say. Looks like a hot show to watch if they can be a little devilish and not get too timid, which seems to be the biggest complaint against some shows on Max After Dark.

I think Co-ed is good. Saw the first Lingerie and it was great! But the best has been the Alien Sex 3 movies. I just saw the third one "Ecstasy". It is perfect! A real masterpiece.

What a twist at the end! So we have to wait another 4 months now? Ugh!!! I really like this cast. Especially the characters from seasons 1 and 2. Next time I really wish they would show more of Larry's body because its perfection.

MAX definitally has something on when nothing else looks good, anytime im channel surfing I find myself stopping if not staying for several eps of something.

I LOVE Co-Ed Confidential! I know straight men are the main and target audience, however, gay and bi men also enjoy the show. Any chance of some full frontal male nudity? Not looking to turn it into a full on, hardcore porn, but if I guy just happened to not cover up his front, would that be such a problem?

I agree with an earlier post that it would be nice to see some throwback softcore from the 70s-90s. I maintain that when most if not all the actresses are fully shaved or nearly fully shaved something is just wrong. I appreciate a greater mix for sure but I guess thats just me and a sign of the times I guess. Again, throwback softcore would be fantastic, they didnt tend to have the quick choppy tease shots...speaking of which...
I agree with many of the posters here who have concern over quick choppy shots, basically tease shots, especially those shots that start to pan over the figure and then change when the goodies get near, its just disappointing. I appreciate more time spent, greater focus on real nudity and less on tease shots that change ultra fast.

Ok...i just saw my first episode of this show, and i echo that it is not nearly "dark" enough, but worse, it was a real turn-off, because all of the hot, buff men seemed to me to be totally gay. i have nothing against gay men, of course, but i found nearly every sex scene with these gay men and het women very implausible indeed, and not at all hot. bleah! They can't even act!
What a disappointment.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that the max late night tv shows are just bad representations of adult content. let's face it, porn stars aren't the best actors in the world, that's expected. but having them act like they're "doing it" is kind of awkward. it's clearly fake and there is never enough showing. I feel like I'm criticizing but I am in favor of story lines in adult television but faking the most important part of the film and limiting shots of the scene is just a definite turnoff to the whole show. I think that the ratings of these shows would be off the charts if the sex scenes weren't so fake and "soft." I'm not saying that the scenes have to be hardcore like the Internet but the should show more of the actors actually doing it, that way, it wouldn't be such a fake experience.

I have a cable company that does not have the ability to offer everything that cinemax offers in "On Demand" and they often cut older shows. I also do not get "cinemax Outer".
I just wish cinemax would cycle through the Coed Confidential features from older seasons about once every couple of months so I can set my DVR like is being done right now with Sex Games: Vegas features and appears to be starting with Black Tie Nights features.

I'm not sure how ratings system works. If the actors were to talk dirty or use certain "pillow talk" language would the rating be bumped up to X-rated? If it wouldn't maybe a little more of that would make these episodes more spicy. Once in a while, under their breath, you can here Syren or Rebecca Love utter some pretty hot talk. But for the most part all you hear is oooh, aaah and yes. Oh well, if not...its just a suggestion.
