Okay, one more thing, I want to revise my earlier post where I said "primetime level scripts aren't what I'm tuning in for." I want to make it clear, I'm not against interesting situations and storylines that gets us to the good stuff. My problem is that when ever producers seem to make that legitimate storytelling/acting/cinematography their goal, it's at the expense of the actual nudity and sex scenes, which should be the priority here. When the sex scenes are short, choppy, trying to give us equal camera time between guys and gals... FAIL. Like medicman stated, naked actresses (even in dialogue scenes) - hurray! And during the sex scenes, long lingering frontal shots ain't a bad thing friend! Forget art and class -- you sound like the Burt Reynolds character in Boogy Nights - "I want them so involved in the story that when they finish, they just have to sit in 'it' to see how the story ends" - that's not going to happen!! A show like LOST ain't going to be better with hardcore/softcore scenes -- anyone trying to merge compelling storytelling with smut is only going to create a show that appeals to no one (unless the smut is top notch). If it weren't for the fact that we get a dribble of good movies still (this week 'Bad and Busty' debuted - 5 stars!) I would have dropped Max two series ago (it ain't fun trying to justify paying for the channel to spouses - "I have no idea about the adult programming honey, we're getting it cause they play good horror movies" ya, right  Hope that post is followable to the reader... I tend to get rambly.

As far as the other posts asking where there was info on season 3 of Co-Ed... I believe at the end of the credits after that last episode from season 2 there is a line about stay tuned for season 3 in '09 (hope I remember that right... I know I saw it somewhere) And yes Max, bring back Erotic Traveller and Sin City Diaries please!

I haven't gotten a chance to see all of the aired episodes Forbidden Science yet, but my impression so far is that I'm going end up agreeing with Medicman (and as far as his comments on Zane, I already know that I couldn't agree more - worst Skinemax disaster since Black Tie Nights). I mean no disrespect to producer Doug Brode who sounds like a nice guy... but I'm not tuning into these shows for Primetime level scripts, know what I mean? Whoever at HBO is greenlighting these last 2 series, greatly misunderstands their audience I think. Best Sex Ever, Thrills, Passion Cove, Erotic Traveller, Sex Games Vegas/Cancun(!)... why oh why can't they produce softcore like this anymore? I keep praying for that style to make a comeback... consistenly disappointed (granted, maybe this isn't the type of thing one should be praying for)

First, let me say thanks Medicman, for giving our show a fair shake with the first three episodes, and that I'm sorry you didn't like them. Honestly, our show isn't trying to be anything like Co-Ed Confidential so it's kind of hard for me to compare the two -- we were attempting to bring primetime level scripts, characters, photography and acting into late night, and admittedly our style and show is vastly different than Co-Ed's more lighthearted erotic romp type stories. I freely admit that whenever you do something different, there are going to be those that embrace it and those that don't, neither is wrong, it's just a matter of what each person is looking for. Either way, I really do appretiate that you came on here and shared your notes, and that you waited for a few episodes before making a decision -- frankly we couldn't ask for any more fair evaluation.

Where did you see the info about it?
Also did something change with the fcc during the end of the first season, it was a clear distinction from showing limited frontal nudity to full exposure, I definitly welcome the change, but am curious why.

Hi Doug!
I watched the series premiere of FORBIDDEN SCIENCE last night and I loved it!
You've done an amazing job and left me wanting more....waiting every week to see another exciting episode will be difficult!
The mix of a thought-provoking science-fiction/porn show is a great idea. It actually has a good plot and was exciting to watch, making me wonder what would happen next - the storyline supplemented the porn scenes very well and was just the right mix. It has the elements that made me really enjoy SIN CITY DIARIES (which I miss very much and hope can be brought back someday....best of luck to Amber Smith on her road to recovery...you can do it Amber!), but FORBIDDEN SCIENCE is an entirely different genre - science-fiction - which I think is very fun to watch! The actors were all great as well!
I look forward to seeing more and will definitely be tuning in every Friday night!

Hey everyone, so PREMIERE NIGHT is finally here -- FORBIDDEN SCIENCE debuts tonight on Cinemax, with a lead in by Predetor and Predetor 2, so hopefully you'll make it a sci-fi night on Cinemax -- (heh, Predetor 2: Danny Glover vs alien hunters, who'd have thought someone would make THAT movie? Kinda fun though)
Unfortunately, this site won't allow me to create a new topic thread for Forbidden Science (anyone know how to make a Forbidden Science topic thread?), but either way, I just wanted to welcome you all to our new show and hope you'll post your views -- we'll certainly be listening.

Would love to see Erotic Traveler back but with more fetish episodes. Not sure how hard the FCC is on you but lets see some good stuff like hard core xxx watersports, wet clothes or handcuffs. More lesbians, cougars and teens. Get risky, get dirty and show us what we want.

Thanks for the info. Being as John Quinn is involved in this, I hope this series has taken some hints from Mr. Quinn's "Sin City Diaries" on how nudity SHOULD be done on late-night cable. He really raised the bar.
