BRAVO! I loved your comment about "Lisa Kudrow being the queen of intelligent comedy"... You took the words right out of my mouth! I have to echo your sentiments that this is absolutely NO DOUBT the SMARTEST, MOST BRILLIANT COMEDY on TV right now! Thanks KELE149 - We are definately on the same page.
Keep up the great work - and Please, please, please - let the comeback be a long running series - It's addicting.

Going on a board to diss a program in favor of another one seems to be a trend. There were lots of posters, at least for a while, on the Rome board bemoaning the cancellation of Carnivale and trashing Rome.

Entourage isn't a good lead-in to The Comeback because the audience for Entourage has so many young men in it, who aren't going to be interested in the travails of a middle-aged actress. On the other hand there are folks like me who will watch anything on HBO that's well done no matter the subject, although I drew the line at Oz, which was well-acted but too brutal for Sunday evening, right before Monday's re-entry into the world of work.

Most of the defenses of The Comeback are elitist in nature. They cite the quality of the acting and the truths the show reveals about Hollywood and most specifically reality TV. But on the populist side people wanted more laughs or a plot that kept them riveted. Neither was a strength of the series. But the bitterness with which some posters criticize The Comeback surprises me.

Every time you open your mouth, you try to drown the world with ignorance. Let's take a look at your argument; Entourage loses 200,000 of SFU's audience(every show has a loyal following so that number can be attributed to that fact(people who only watch SFU)). The Comeback consistently loses between 1.2 MILLION and 1.6 MILLION of Entourages audience and yet it's Entourages fault. Think about and get back to me.

I laughed so hard (all season, but especially this episode) at this one! Please don't make us wait too long for new batch of shows. I cannot wait patiently to see what will happen next. Lisa Kudrow is queen of intelligent comedy.....no one else even comes close to her! This is no doubt the smartest, most brilliant comedy on TV right now!:(

I watched the season finale on the 7:30 p.m. EST feed and was blown away. I am writing this as I watch it yet again on the 10:30 p.m. pst feed....FABULOUS....

I don't want to ruin it by disclosing any info but all "The Comeback" fans will not be disappointed. RobOxnard=Rainman you are definately Paulie G-when you watch this episode, you'll see what I mean, you kicky dirty bird, you...

The only problem is that I caught the last portion of "Entourage"...it just confirmed that "The Comeback" deserved/deserves a better lead-in....

Cherish is the word....
