I thought it was a great show. I liked it because it did not fit the cookie-cutter that just about every other show on the air uses. However, only intelligent and mature viewers may be able to appreciate that type of humor. 
There are only 2 series left on HBO that I go out of my way to watch each week (The Wire and Curb). I would hope that HBO might consider giving this series a comeback.

The reason this show was cancelled was because it stunk to high heaven.I herd that michael king was shown the door at hbo and told to never never come back again.I guess he and lisa k had a thing going on and she made him create this monster flop.There was a study done at NASA and they found that of the small group of people whom like the comeback,there is hope for them,i guess you comeback lovers can go to the hospital and get a new brain from a dead monkey,hurry there running out,i understand that there are alot of very stupid people out there whom like that show.So hurry hurry you morons go get help and tune in to ALI G.....

I don't understand what HBO is thinking of by canceling this show. The Comeback was one the best shows on any network and episode 5 is proof! HBO should canel Lucky Louie instead.

Bring the Comeback Back! Great series - truly original. HBO don't flush gold!

Another season?!?!?
A thought of that gives me an uneasy feeling in my stomach. Apparently HBO had the same sickening symptoms from this show.
IT was like listening to Chuck Manson explaining legal system. You know nobody in their right mind understands him. It was painful.
I suggest Lisa Kudrow start hanging out with comics if she wants to do comedy and possibly do some stand up to learn what works and what does not. She is still young and can learn a few things. Lisa just chill and listen.
Nobody thinks Susane Summers is funny.
This parody crap ain't working.
I would not wish it aired on Al-Jezeera.

I'm sorry. I love the Comeback. Why oh why was it cancelled. HBO, in my humble opinion, should have given it a chance in a second season.
Lucky Louie is one of the most egregious shows I have ever seen. I turn it off as soon as the Entourage is over. What is funny about Lucky Louie? It's totally offensive.

Lucky Louie is aweful. It doesn't work in so many ways. No chemistry, unfunny, unappealing characters.
The Comeback was a gem of a show.
Mark ripping the camera off the ceiling in their bedroom, then falling to earth like a smart bomb in the Iraq war, made me laugh till my sides hurt.
Clinking their heads on the porcelin of the bathroom trying to have sex.
The puppy episode.
One more season of the Comeback as Val peaks & then slides back down the slipery slope of fame would be hysterical!

Folks, get over it. This was the most tedious TV series in history. Had it been a network show, it would have been pulled after 2 weeks. All that said, I hated the show so much, I would be willing to tune in for a reunion special if the only character allowed on was Paulie G and he did an hour monologue of all the hideous things he would have done to Valerie had the show continued. Love Lisa Kudrow...HATED Valerie Cherish and loathed The Comeback.
Some of you may feel Lucky Louie may be crude and stupid...and it is. But, at least once an episode I actually laugh-out-loud. As bad as this past episode was, it started out hillarious when the dip-shit buddy announced his nuptuals. I watched every episode of The Comeback...most more than once, and I cannot recall a hearty laugh in any epsiode. I do recall just shaking my head...alot.

I have finally watched two episodes of Lucky Louie. I cannot believe HBO would air this show and cancel The Comeback. Lucky Louie is devoid of subtlty, taste, humor, social relevance, performance and decency. It has all the earmarks of being written, produced, directed and cast by Rob Oxnard.
