here's an idea which i think is worth exploring: LD exposes one of the single most unidentified corruption scandals which plagues our entertainment industry on a national scale: "popcorn communism" while at the movies on a cheap date with Jeff and Susie, Larry begins to bicker with a concession stand attendant over the price fix on popcorn and soda combinations. priced individually, 2 products add to the nearly twice the sum of the combo package. Larry is outraged and accuses the movie theater of promoting a form of communism, ie: patrons are cattle prodded into taking the combo deal or else they are ridiculed for overspending on individual items. it's the theater's way or the highway! everyone gets the same deal, and individual preferences are not respected. whats worse, it later becomes clear that the concession attendant is mentally challenged, prompting intervention by the shift supervisor who admonishes Larry in front of a growing crowd. Larry, on the defensive, insists that he did not know that the attendant was "retarded" . . . which statement creates further outrage and the crowd turns against him. Susie, of course, joins in with her typical rant against Larry, who runs for cover. Dont ask me why, i just cant get enough of this show and i think i'm tuned into Larry mind. i actually wrote a script for this if anyone's interested.

At first not being too concerned about the mysterious number then as the show goes on, becoming more and more paranoid about it would be funny too? Or maybe being confronted by friends after finding out they've been deleted or moved out of his top friends list on his phone? You know that Verizon commerical with the Top 5 friends? Something along those lines LOL -- ********* Host_Ginna HBO Forums Host

Larry updates his phone because there are numbers on there he doesn't use anymore and is tired of going through his list of numbers he doesnt use anymore. As he is "making the cut" he isn't sure of deleting some numbers, but eventually parts with them. He gets an call later from a number he does not recognize and decides not to answer because he has been getting calls doesn't know. Turns out this call is important from one of his old friends that has important news for him. Later in the episode Larry gets confronted from the caller and the confrontation ensues throughout the episode. More and more stuff happens but thats the main idea. I just think it would be hilarious.

I just love Larry David. I think he is one of the best comics around I love the show. The last show was great. I hope that the Blacks and the show will be back soon. I hope this was not the final season It will be great with the Blacks in the show. It adds a lot to it. PLease come back Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the only shows I can stand. I loved The Sopranos but that is over and I loved Sex in The City and that is over. Please do not take Larry from us too. I hope he brings back another season and many more after that.

CYE is the best. IMHO, Larry David is the funniest person on the planet. My life is a CYE episode it seems. Almost every day. I do not have to go to a therapist- I watch CYE! The show is great on so many levels. I would like one day to write a thesis-type article/paper about LD's humor and perspective, with the basis being of course CYE and the Seinfeld's he wrote......the man is in fact.....a genius.

Wow! I see I'm the first person to think of offering episode ideas for Curb through this forum. Before I get into my idea, let me tell you up front that I will NOT be able write the script out in any more detail. My writing skills are very crude and rudimentary and you will very likelly be disappointed if you ask me for anything which resembles a more formal approach to writing. Futhermore, although this script sketch is very funny, I likely will NOT be able to come up future sketch ideas. I frankly do not hold up well under pressure and cannot see myself being able to contribute anything to your organization on what you would consider to be a 'regular basis'. Having set expectations appropriately low, the following episode would undoubtedly be a Curb classic if anyone in your organization has the brains to put it on. The setup: Funkhouser is playing the best golf of his life, which, by the way, really is annoying Larry and Jeff. The secret to his success? He's joined an all-male all-nude golf club. Initially reluctant to reveal the secret of his newfound success because he thinks they wouldn't understand. However, when pressed Funkhouser reveals to Larry the source of his newfound prowess. He then goes on and on about being so in touch with his body during his swing - feeling everything swing around, feeling the grass and terrain under his toes, being more sensitive to any changes in wind, etc, etc... Larry is dumbfounded, and quite frankly, disgusted. However, he hears from other sources during the next few days confirming the benefits of playing in the nude, and, desperate to improve his game, decides to accept Funkhouser's invitation for a round of golf at his all-male all nude club. Things are going well, Larry is really into nude golf and playing the best round of his life. During a slow moment on the 11th teebox (feel free to insert your own hole if you don't like 11. Or make any other changes you feel like. I'm not really a slave to creative integrity), Larry's mind drifts and he starts thinking of an extremely attractive woman that he ran into, scantily clothed, earlier in the episode. He happens to be staring right at the ass of another member of his foursome as he's daydreaming, and uncontrollably gets an...well, I don't know what the censoring standards are on this board, and don't think I really need to spell out what happens next, but what the hell, he gets an erection. Lots of nervous glances ensue, Larry tries, unsuccessfully, to explain. As there are no females anywhere in the club, his group assumes that Larry is a homosexual and has been hiding in the closet his entire life. Larry vehemently denies this, which in turn gets him in trouble with the gay community which accuses him of being anti gay for not accepting who he is and making, in the process of renouncing his gayness, derogatory remarks about gay people. I could go on, but quite frankly, you get the idea, and I don't have any more time to spend on this email. I don't ask for much, but would appreciate some correspondance if you (you meaning Curb) decide to use this (email at a_skelly@yahoo.com). Seeing as I'm providing the writing for free, I don't really think this is asking too much.

Mr. david I'm from Oklahoma and really like your show , when the first time I seen my first episode was the one with the skin-head , that was so funny, . anyway I seen every episode of seinfeld, was wondering what the picture above the book case on the set , of seinfeld was . I am a native american (Sac & Fox, Kiowa) I guess the reason I asked what the picture Is , it looks like a picture of some teepee's . I always look for that picture everytime I watch seinfeld, anyway I was just curious. Thanks L.D.

I remember the first time I watch the show was about 5 years ago. My wife and I were watching it when her water broke. We were just talking about this last night, when we're watching CYE. Our son is 4 and she's pregnant again and we were wondering if we'll be going through the same again. Actually, it hasn't been exactly the same, since she's with our son most of the time and hardly gets the chance to watch CYE or much of anything at all, while I watch'em all. I've seen last night's episode 2x; it was a new episode for her but I laughed just as hard as she did.

We absolutely love Larry David! We just found CYE two months ago and laugh before the show even starts now. Surely this is not the last season??? When does the season normally start for this show?

sorry, did not know where to post this, since it is about ep 39, The Survivor. Larry and Cheryl are renewing their vows, its been 10 years. Right b4 the ceremony, Larry says, "Let's roll". The rabbi gets angry b/c larry should know better since the rabbi's bro died in 9/11. - not in the towers but uptown on the same day. Why is "lets roll" offensive? I dont get it. thanks for your help

Hi just a quick episode pitch. The Urinal Anxiety Larry finds that it's difficult to pee in crowded public restrooms and must retreat to the stall to relieve himself. While driving home Larry is suddenly struck with the urge to use the restroom. In a panic he pulls over at a restaurant only to find a crowded mens room. As he waits in line the urge subsides. A urinal between two large men opens and Larry approaches, unzips but can't produce. In an act of subterfuge Larry stands there pretending to pee, waits for a stall to open, flushes and quickly dips in, but not without being noticed by one of the large men next to him. The large man is gay and mistakes Larry's urinal anxiety for an invitation to bathroom sex. The large gay man enters the stall next to Larry and begins signaling him by tapping his foot on Larry's side of the stall. Unfamiliar with these advances, and tries to distance himself from the gay man's foot. The tapping becomes more aggressive and attracts the attention of Marty Funkhouser who in in the next stall and is familiar with these sex signals after reading about the Larry Craig scandal. As Larry leaves Mary recognizes him and they engage in an awkward stare. Later rumors surface that Larry has been engaging in some extracurricular activities since his separation with Cheryl. Just a quick idea that could go a number of direction. If you want me to finish give me a call 303-319-2287
