A book about freaks, coupled with a chauffeur's incapacity, sets Larry up for a string of ejections involving Ted Danson, John McEnroe and a group of mourners. Discuss now!

I liked the part when Larry & Cheryl brought the limo driver home and (again) "forced" to listen to Ms.limo driver's tirade about all the chaos in her house....not that she's a contributor at all....

Worst episode in 55 episodes! My reasons: Larry's obnoxious behavior is almost always rooted in his sincere sense of right and wrong, however misguided. He does have a skewed logic at work, e.g., you don't get trick or treat candy if you're 16 and not wearing a costume. In this episode, he's just a jerk: insisting on hassling Ted about the bow tie request, even after the bartender BEGS him not to because he will get in trouble; laughing loudly at the party and annoying everyone while looking at the freak book (this is behavior he would usually be ridiculing); insisting on inviting the limo driver in (didn't he learn his lesson with the stolen fork incident?) Also the long limo bit with McEnroe and then the mourners was not funny and went nowhere. Is Larry out of ideas? No! because last night's episode when Cheryl left him was very funny. So this is the most inconsistent season yet. Like Sienfeld, the everyday incidents are the best. When the stories get too contrived, they lose steam. IMHO.

Am I the only guy who thought the bartender was a Tom Cruise look-alike?

This is the most brilliant season in years. People seem split and frankly as far as the people who aren't liking this season go, what did you ever like about this show? It's bold, Larry is at his funniest, the shows are filled with ideas the like of which recall the heyday of Seinfeld, and because this is LD the episodes are just WRONG. Episodes like Ida Funkhouse manage to be cliffhangers of uncomfortableness, hillarious and astounding at every turn. The Lefty Call episode was pretty unfocused but on the whole this season has blown me away. The gimmicky Season 5 might as well not have even existed.

I don't agree with all you Haters! This episode however, was not the funniest. The only part that was funny was Ted Danson's B-Day party.....and when Larry said he would "...take care of things" for the Bartender with the Bow Tie! I wanted to grab Larry by the neck & strangle him!!! LarryDFan

Hey Guys There has been 5 episodes this season the first 3 were great the last 2 were SO-SO it happens you are NOT going to get 10/10 so stop trying to bury the show. They have 5 left including sunday night............if the final 5 are excellent. that would make 8/10 which is a pretty good ratio for me, pretty, pretty, pretty good....

>>I said it the night of the first episode. David has become a caricature of the caricature of himself. (don't know why my post was erased from this site). He has jumped the shark, the show is not funny, and the characters' lines seemed forced and non-spontaneous. A total disaster and disappointment this season.<< A great show has run its course. Time to bury it in the special section.

People the limo driver thing can happen. Its happened to me and made this show funny as shit. I told my friend about the show and she couldnt wait to she the show because it happenned twice to her and if she watched it would proabbly laugh at the freak book taking over ted dansons birthday gifts, larry telling susie if you were my wife i wouldnt let you out the house with what you are wearing. questioning mcrenoe if he has allergies and likes gardning was priceless. was that the same guy dishing out the plots that had larrys mom moved because of a tatoo on her ass.

I said it the night of the first episode. David has become a caricature of the caricature of himself. (don't know why my post was erased from this site). He has jumped the shark, the show is not funny, and the characters' lines seemed forced and non-spontaneous. A total disaster and disappointment this season. I'm sad to see so many agree on this forum, but not surprised. We expect a lot out of this guy, and he has fallen on sponge cake... Thank god for californication and dexter! 2 worth-seeing and worth-paying-for alternatives. LD has apparently lost his muse. Fortunately for him, he can retire and kibbitz with jerry and Richard...Thanks for the other great seasons, especially season 2!

Probably my least favorite episode ever. Not funny at all. Too far fetched to work for me. The limo story? Not funny. The cemetery plot story? Completely not funny and not true. C'mon Larry, people are not going to react that way. Larry talking to Ted about the bowtie.. Again, not funny. The limo driver getting tanked... wouldn't happen. The grieving family getting in the limo..Where was their limo? Did it leave without them? C'mon Larry, it was very unlikely to happen and not funny. And how many millionaires would drive their drunk limo driver home. NONE!!! They would get a ride with someone else and then call and bitch about it. Larry, I love ya, but you need my help my friend. Call me. I can help you out? Why you ask? Because I am Bob Public, the voice of millions that watch your show. And we need more Leon in future episodes!
