"I had to see someone else. He was suicidal." - Steve Coogan Is it just me or does anyone else thing that Steve Coogan was making a 'dig' at Owen Wilson? That is just not right. Owen Wilson has just been through a rough patch in his life. Rumors were that Steve Coogan may have been partly to blame for the attempt. Anyway, the good news is that Owen Wilson survived, so there. Steve Coogan is a big time druggie. He should go back to England, where he belongs!

Here is an article from the New York Post that says Larry is considering doing perhaps even two or three more seasons. Of course we will probably not know for sure one way or another for a while after this season ends : http://www.nypost.com/seven/11052007/tv/neurotic_no_more_923379.htm

Man, am I going to miss this show. I think one more episode and that will be it. This season has been great and I'm going to savor the "Bat Mitsvah". 60 episodes - a great run. Wasn't Steve Coogan the guy blamed for Owen Wilson's drug use? Regardless, he was terrific on "The Therapists". Long Live "long Balls" Larry. Res Ipsa Loquitar

Great episode, and have to say Steve Coogan gave an utterly brilliant understated performance as Larry's therapist. The guy has incredible range, if you've taken in his British shows (the day today, alan partridge, saxondale) you'll appreciate this performance even more. all of his stuff is highly recommended, and in many ways i think he's a british version of larry david.

This might be the end coming up - even if things remain unresolved. Remember how long a lag there was between season 5 and this current one? You can only go to the well so many times before it comes up dry and you end up belaboring obvious truths. I would like to see Larry get to bang the Vivica Fox character before its over. And no I don't think "Larry David" is really married to "Cheryl" and that she lives in a real beach house, but even if that were so, so what? Wow, you people actually believe that Larry David and "Cheryl David" are a real married couple and not a fictional couple in a sitcom, don't you? You think "Cheryl David" is living in a real beach house, don't you? You think that "Cheryl David" really broke up with her husband Larry David and is going out on real dates with other men, don't you? Maybe the two fictional therapists have some time available on their fictional calendars to counsel you people. -- Edited by RobOxnard at 11/06/2007 4:38 PM

LD is a true subversive. His politically correct liberal, anti-conservative, anti-traditional viewpoint is brandished openly. Yet, in this season particularly he is poking holes into all the Left Coast Hollywood pieties in his own narcissistic superfical way. If he were a male equivalent of Anne Coulter (let's say) he'd be pilloried up and down the media. But since he's one of "them"; he gets away with figurative murder; and I love it.

Funny, I never thought of Cheryl as a gold -digger character. She strikes me as a sweet easy going persona to compliment LD's neurotic personality. Isn't it possible to view LD and Cheryl as a fortunate couple who are able afford a good life. LD on the show is portrayed as someone with lots of free time, just like his wife. Why pick on Cheryl? Surprisingly, LD and Cheryl seem to have a nice group of grounded friends despite their California celebrity surroundings. I liked it when Cheryl was back with LD..........she is a perfect combination for LD's shenanigans. I think the finale will end with the marriage issue unsettled. If Larry David wrote this when he was struggling with his own marital issues......he wasn't far enough along in his own mind to know if he wants to be married or single. But please CYE folds.....return real soon.I hope this is not the FINALE for good.

I sincerely hope she doesn't come back to Larry in the final episode. >>> I'm sure you and I aren't the only ones wondering this. Although I find her to be a very attractive woman, I've always wondered what her value was to her marriage to LD, other than sex.... which she seems to always deny him anyhow. I mean think about it. The poor guy has to practically beg her to have sex, and when and if she does give it to him, it's almost as if she only does it out of pity. Other than that, I honestly sdon't see what she brings to the table. He makes all the money, ... her idea of work is volunteer work for "causes". No need for her to cook... they're always going out. No need to clean... they have a maid. No need for her to network... LD's entertainment fame already brings that. Get my point ? And to top it off, she supposedly loves him, but the minute she leaves him she's already out dating some other guy. So much for "breaking up is hard to do" huh ? By the way, notice that the guy she's dating has big bucks too.

I liked this episode a lot. The stretch of episodes from 3 to 6 or so had me really disappointed, but the breakup turned the show around for me and now I'm really looking forward to the finale! What's going to happen with the Blacks, anyway? Not sure how I feel about Larry doing two or three more seasons (seems like the curse of most great American comedies is that they go on far too long), but tonight proved that he still has it. By the way, Larry's therapist was played by Steve Coogan, one of the greats of modern British comedy who did a show in the 90s called "It's Alan Partridge", an absolute comedy classic that I would highly recommend to Curb fans. -- Edited by dvakman at 11/05/2007 9:46 PM

LOVE this episode! I am such a huge fan I actually felt real anger for a few seconds when Cheryl stormed out of the restaurant! lol I love them as a couple! Last episode and this one, are the winners so far. I put them right up there with my faves the grand opening, krazee eyez, the bracelet, and trick or treat! -- Edited by CYEFANATIC at 11/05/2007 7:24 PM -- Edited by CYEFANATIC at 11/05/2007 7:25 PM
