He chats during sex and chooses the TiVo guy over Cheryl's distress call. But is there more to love about Larry than minty breath and the ready provision of tissues and pens? What other redeeming (or unredeeming) qualities would you urge Cheryl to weigh? Submit your: Take Back Larry? PROS and CONS list here and we'll post a few of the best. -- Edited by HBOAdmin5 at 11/01/2007 12:00 PM

No way should Cheryl take Larry back. Cheryl seems to have an irresistible urge to ask Larry to do things she KNOWS he's not going to be able to carry out. It's not that Larry is a bad guy. In fact he's quite principaled. But Cheryl should know by now that his eccentricities far outweigh his ability to pick up her prescriptions without pissing off the pharmacist. So why does she do it? Sure it's entertaining for us to see what Larry will do to vex and embarass Cheryl next, but he can still do that on a daily basis if they are just friends can't he?

I think it would be hilarious to do a kind of Bob Newhart thing to begin season 7 where either LD or Cheryl wakes up next to Bob Newheart and we find out that all of season 6 was a dream. I did, however, Love the interaction between Leon and LD. They should do more of that.

I'm good friends with mr. JD and this is what I think is gona happen: first episode of the last season, the blacks arent talked about much at all, like if LD had sex with that girl for his present from cheryl. he is now mr. all right and pushes his real life cause of global warming. He is now... the straight man. The funny man is jeff and crazy happenings with the wife and kids that interact with ld and the funny ness of him being changed. The final funny is that the new LD is cherryl, who now relaxes, with help from all their friends, that the old LD MUST come back, so she turns into the goofy role trying to win back LD's heart.

I think if she does take him back the new episode should be entitled QUID PRO QUO and he has to wax his lower extermities b/c of that one time he had a "uhum hair ball "and always complains about going downtown on her. However, the woman waxing him has dated him but never seen him down there so all sorts of fun with that. Of course the wax is too hot and he gets burned so he comes out of the place holding 'it' wherein Ted Danson's wife sees him and thinks he's playing with himself. Then he goes to the ER to get the dr. he has annoyed before, and more troubles ensue for him. The ER dr. gives him viagra but when he gets home Cheryl has just gotten a phone call that he has been lusting after Danson's wife, when he shows Cheryl his waxed boys and the botched job they did b/c one side is bald and the other hairy she starts laughing so again he is SOL from you know what... CHERYL now feels vindicated and does not have to go downtown.

I agree with the people who say let's go one more season with them separated and give the Blacks a little more play. In the final episode of the season Larry and Vivica Fox's character looked like they were set to start a relationship of sorts. Could make for some interesting episodes. At the end of the next season Larry & Cheryl get back together. Cheryl & Larry are 80% of the show. The series wouldn't be the same without Larry's escapades and Cheryl putting up with most of them. Love Wanda Sykes in the show as her humor and obvious disdain for Larry make for some great verbal battles.

Although Cheryl leaving spawned some good shows, it does not make sense. She married the guy. I thought they had also been married for 10 years or so. Why leave him now? That being said, I could envision another season where they are still separated. I think it would be interesting to see Larry David and the Blacks for a full season. I think Cheryl should eventually come back to Larry and realize that they are meant to be together. It is a bizarre life, but it is their life. I don't buy any angst on her part. If

I rather enjoy the dynamic between Leon & Larry. I want to see more of their misadventures. So keep Cheryl & Loretta fighting with each other over who really wants LD. Besides me, that is.

I have never seen any man get in so much trouble in my life. Sometimes through no fault of his own. Often he's just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, who else in their right or wrong mind is going to fool with Larry? Cheryl has to take him back and make the world safe for the rest of us.

Pros: I mean, c'mon . . . can anyone who was the creative genius behind Seinfeld be all bad? Cons: At times, when you look into his eyes, you sort of see it . . . squirrels juggling knives.

Cheryl has to take Larry back. That's what makes the show so funny! Larry is hilarious and shocking, and Cheryl's reactions are always awesome. It's such a play on the silly quirks of marriage, they have to stay together. If Larry's single and keeps messing up... it'll get old quickly. The separation is a great idea to add twist, but they have to get back together in the end.
