Why are so many down on Larry? He's a victim of circumstance, a nonconformist, and honest to a fault. Is that so bad?
Cheryl should take him back. He's not meeting her emotional needs, but he can work on that. He's loyal, a good provider, and an interesting conversationalist. Once you really get to know him, he's a very generous and philanthropic individual. His friends are hypocritical and should be supporting him. Look at Funkhouser: He didn't even walk the 5k for Alzheimers! Jeff, even despite his stature, did!
His indiscretions are minor. Pretending to be orthodox to move Lewis up the kidney list? I call that being a good friend. Quitting his thong-wearing therapist? Anyone in their right mind would do the same. Too earnestly trying to be entertaining with Tyler at the auction lunch? Who wouldn't feel that pressure when someone spends 4 large for lunch with you?!
Cheryl will never be happier with anyone else.

Cheryl should NOT tyake Larry back because of his egomaniacal decision to have a sixth season. The humor has descended to sophomoric bathroom jokes. No longer charmingly eccentric now rude and nasty.
Sorry, Larry, you can be a very funny guy. Direct your talent to something new.

Pros:
He's hilarious - laughing each day prolongs your life.
He's wealthy
Who cares what his quirks are - just listening to him go on about every little thing, plus being friends with Lewis is enough to keep me going each day!
Cons:
Move out of that "Hotel" and back into the Malibu beach mansion
His obsession with his baldness and poor eyesight
He's friends with Marty Funkhouser & Ted Danson

Larry's the good one... Cheryl abandoned the Blacks, not to mention poor Larry. What did he do? Cheryl is so selfish. I know how hard it is to get TV technicians to the house. Cheryl is a slut....at least when Larry was interested in having an affair with another woman, he asked for permission. Larry's only fault is that he is honest. He wears his heart on his sleeve. Who else would have stood up to take a stand at blatant racism. I am sick thinking how Cheryl just shakes her head at Larry whenever there is a misunderstanding, rather than take his hand and fight side by side for his causes. Larry is a saint.

Never.
Take my word for it as a survivor of a long marriage to someone who WOULD be the Larry Clone were he not better looking, and very brainy: my ex-husband actually IS a rocket scientist.
Save yourself.
He is never going to get any better: the Larrys of this world, spoiled, selfish, with no interest in what others are suffering, including on his behalf, do NOT improve with age.
He is NOT a fine wine, but rather like the vinegar you get when the bottle is left uncorked for too long.
So not only is what you have already seen what you will always get, but it will be even more of the same as he ages: alas, nothing for it but to chuck it... down the drain...
Although I DO laugh as I watch "Curb..." and often wholeheartedly - psychopathology IS funny, after all (as long as it has not yet erupted into mayhem) - but I also scratch myself a lot while watching, as if I were having an attack of urticaria...
Just as I used to do when I was married.... and until my Sunday nights with the Davids (religiously observed, by the way: like watching a serial train wreck, I can't turn away..) ... I hadn't had an outbreak or a scratch mark in 25 years!

Yes, take Larry back!!! If this were a real life situation I wouldn't be giving this advice, but I LOVE this show - it's my favorite and I fear without Cheryl as Larry's sidekick, there won't be a show anymore. You gotta have a straight man for every zany, out of control, wild man like Larry.

Larry needs a break from marriage, LET HER GO LIVE IN A TREE. She will come back when the money runs out. Larry on the dating scene is alot more entertaining than always being in trouble with person who just notices your faults.

Pros:
Larry is funnier than hell
He is totally loyal to Cheryl
He is totally unpredictable
He loves Cheryl
He is creative
He is unique
For 60 years old, he is not bad looking and has a great smile.
He hates George Bush
He is liberal
He's brutally honest
Cons:
He constantly embarrasses her in public
He lies to her to cover his ass
He's brutally honest (a pro and con)
He has a reputation of being an obnoxious, egocentric, jerk
I love Larry, and would gladly pay $4,000 to have lunch with him and watch his bizarre antics, imitate Marilyn Monroe singing happy birthday while he plays with his eating utensils, listen to stories about his therapist with the thong up his ass, and entertain his offer to donate his penis!
Oh, and I would let him eat his cold sandwich before my meal arrived.
I would LOVE to hang out with him for a day!

Yes, Cheryl, Larry is Larry, he loves you, you have to know that after 10 years. He is someone I would love to have around as a brother or friend, he keeps things lively, give him some breaks here, your a environmentis and you have all this things about conserving energy and he supports you all the time, he may not like it, but you know he is always there, come late or not, Larry Loves You.
He couldn't even have sex on your 10th Wedding Anniversay, he tried, but you know he would never do it for real. You hate his mgr. and you know that is hard for a man to deal with because he loves him as a friend as well as a mgr. but you put your digs in all the time. Look at your family, they come over to your home and take over, Larry does his best, don't go blowing him away with the words, "I can't take this Larry anymore, you put up with it for 10 even after all HIS FREINDS went on your side.
David and Cheryl forever!!!!!!!!! I want a 11th anniversary show.

Larry never yells at Cheryl because he is a pussy, no one likes a pussy. They should break up for his own good because he is not past the point where its unmanageable.
I cant imagine Larry bicycling in France anyway.

Cheryl should go back to Larry because despite all of what outsiders view as his flaws, Larry LOVES Cheryl! From stressing out over a happy ending massage, almost completely blowing Julia L.D's pitching, to hiring an orchestra for her, to buying her a platinum tennis bracelet, to hiring a nativity scene, wining her and dining her, she has the life!
In fact, Out of all of the characters Larry yells at on the show, he never swears or really yells AT her ABOUT her - her just yells TO her about OTHER people - like the neighbor who wanted to meet Julia Louis Dreyfuss! Larry CONFIDES in her with almost everything!
Cheryl has the knack of calming Larry down from enraged to calm, without ever cursing at him like everyone else in his life does.
I like them better together!
