The Davids and the Blacks move into a new house, and take in a new guest. Meanwhile, Larry rewrites a dry-cleaning rule; Jeff finds his reputation stained; and Larry envies Ted Danson's anonymity.

I think it is probably street slang, but does anyone know what Leon is saying to Larry, when he breaks the news that "he brings it to the ladies". The Leon character is great. That actor is good.

I'm starting to enjoy this episode more and more as I watch it. Anyone else LOVE the line, "it's fake philanthropy, and faux anonymity! Whaddaya think about that!?" LOL

I thought this episode was good, it had some great ideas and some really funny dialogue however I felt there were a few moments that didn't work and as a result the show didn't hold together as well as it should of. Firstly there was no need to have a cum stain on the teddy, i didn't find it clear who had done it but it doesn't really matter. It was sick the idea of one of anyone masturbating in a little girls room. What would of been better is if Susie found a stain on the blanket in her guest room and assumed it to be Larry but it turned ut to be Jeff also... as someoe mentioned earlier Cheryl saying "i know who anonymous is, it's Ted. That's how he like's to do it" etc. was just silly. Apart from that Larry's acting is terrfic this season and Susie is in top form... one moment thanking Larry for agreeing with her about Cheryl having no right to ban Jeff before a few seconds later telling him to "get the fuck out of my house" and banning him... classic!

Great season so far. Episode 2 is an instant classic. Episode 1 is not too shabby either. Everyone is in top form, especially Ted, Marty, and Jeff. No one mentioned Sheryl's little crush on Ted - so funny when she speaks glowingly about him. Susie's "banned from the house" scene was one of her best ever.

It would be nice for Cheryl to show her feet bare more often, close up shots. Like for example the episode where Larry lost his wallet or booklet, interrupted the neighbors house I believe and at the end had to end up paying another neighbor $500. Well at the end when they were sitting in the lawn chairs reading, the camera could have move back more, and Cheryl "SHOULD HAVE BEEN BAREFOOT!!!!". That would have been beautiful for an ending.

Gina Gershon is probably one of the sexiest chick I've ever seen. I can't even stand to look at her for TOO LONG (get it). LOL

Dear HBO Devt Execs, or the inters who read this shit: I am a HUGE fat of HBO. But y'all have forsaken me with the cancellation of The Comeback. How could you do this? I have heard wind of HBO insiders saying the show is "too hard to watch." Bullshit. Although, I'll admit I didn't like it the first time around, but over time I have grown to consider it the best show in television. You've put it up on Demand lately and I've been watching it again. Lisa Kudrow and Michael Patrick King are gods. The Comeback is, in my opinion, ahead of its time, even for HBO. It's rare in television when a character breathes such life as Valerie Cherish. Shame on all y'all!!! BRING BACK THE COMEBACK!

Awesome episode...watched it a few times so far and it seems to get better every time. Gina Gershon is incredibly sexy, and Leon is a fantastic addition. I have high expectations for the next episode too! "Larry argues with Susie and Richard Lewis over condolences, confronts a pair of "sample abusers" at an ice-cream parlor and a perfumery, and is accused of pinching flowers by Marty Funkhouser." Sounds funny! David Mandel is the director - he's the co-creator of Clerks: The Animated Series and wrote the Seinfeld episode "The Bizarro Jerry", so obviously a very funny guy. "Well he told me, but he told me not to tell anybody. That's how he likes to do it, makes him feel better about himself..."

Saw this episode for the first time last night right after episode 1. Gina Gershon is amazingly hot. The dry cleaning rule was used to great effect. "The Anonymous Donor" will go down as one of the best right there with the doll episode. The competition between Ted & Larry is just like the sandwich episode where they go back & forth which one looks look. Love this season so far. If it's the last they're going out with a bang.

I thought this one was one of the best ever, right alongside such classics as "Shaq," "The Doll," and "Porno Gil." The viewer could tell how hilarious Jeff & Larry thought the scene where Jeff admitted to staining the blanket. To tie it into the "Seder" episode was genius. They were laughing and suppressing from totally busting up. I thought the whole episode was terrific - better than the storylines from Season 5 IMO. I can't wait for next week! BTW, Gina Gershon looked amazing in that episode. I remember her mainly from her role in "The Insider." She is stunningly beautiful and very funny. -- Edited by daverigs1 at 09/19/2007 7:33 AM

> I watched the episode twice and laughed even harder > the second time. > > What I didn't get for sure was what "stuff" was on > the doll? > I thought Susie accused Larry of pissing on the > doll. Naaa, Susie definitely thought Larry had ejaculated on the doll in retalition to Jeff jerking off on Larry's blanket, even though Larry somehow missed his marked while trying to pee. But I don't know which was more hilarious,...Susie's poor little girl discovering the pee on the doll. or Larry getting chewed out by Susie who thought it was ejaculate. Nevertheless,... I don't think I've seen anything so hilarious since Cameron Diaz pulled semen from Ben Stiller's ear in the movie "There's Something About Mary" and rubbed it in her hair thinking it was hair gel. -- Peace 2 U Always, S h a d o w -- Edited by shadowmusic at 09/19/2007 7:00 AM

> I wonder if Ted Danson was jacking off on the bear > while on the phone with Cheryl. I watched the episode twice and laughed even harder the second time. What I didn't get for sure was what "stuff" was on the doll? I thought Susie accused Larry of pissing on the doll. Seems like a lot of the episodes revolve around Larry going to the bathroom. He must have a hang-up over it or some kind bladder problem. So despite seeing many of the scenes multiple times, the show is still original and still makes me come in my pants.

That is without question the most asinine post I have ever read. Were it not for the gravy category, it would also be the most offensive thing that has ever graced our little corporate niche here. Why are any of us here, again?
