In the Season Six finale, an upcoming Bat Mitzvah provides Larry with an opportunity to clear up his recent domestic travails--as well as some nasty rumors. Discuss now!

I have to ask why someone would comment on Larry's personal life, and the effects it had on the last show? Have you ever thought that he is able to have ups and downs on the show as well as in his life? That maybe his character can have more than one side? I think the comment shows that you must have accomplished much in your short life to be so critical of anothers. CYE is hysterical and I LOVE the man. Love the man.

OK...... So I'm an avid fan of Larry David's sense of humour. I'm an avid fan of the show. I am not, however, one who pries into the lives of celebrities - I know that everyone's obsessed with this especially the Yanks - and I'm not saying it's an "evil" thing, but it's just not MY thing. SO! I know very little about Larry's personal (real) life, and wish to keep it so. However, I do understand that he and the real Cheryl have been going through some marital problems (maybe even divorce I am uncertain). I thought this pain (or whatever verb is more suited here) was most apparent in Larry's latest piece of art. I thought Episode 60 started off rather slowly. It was, for me, quite sullen and heavy. I understand what marital problems can do to a man (or a woman) and thought perhaps this is why Episode 60 had that feel. I believed it to be quite evident. But I feel petty discussing this for it is such a personal issue and I ask - how would I feel if I was him and my kids/family read these words... Hm. Whatever the reasons may or may not be, I thought the episode started off quite dry and that the writer's wind had been knocked out of him... It was the only episode thus far I heard myself saying Larry's infamous "Eh". The funniest part of the Episode was - dare I say it - when he was acting as a "retard" in order to repel his new neighbour at work (classic LD moment). I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! I also enjoyed the last scene (LD and Loretta dancing) where we see a rather gentle, romantic side not to Larry (I believe we see his gentle nature each and every episode - the character is a marshmallow)... But rather a gentle romantic side to 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', which was nice... And it was nice and brief and I am glad it ended the way it did. Nice touch. I do hope to see more of Larry's work. I am not really sure what I think of Larry and the Blacks. Yes it could provide another few seasons of fun and wholesome entertainment... BUT I truly believe that it will then become just another one of "those" TV shows... Not that I watch TV now (Curb and Lost is the only time I watch TV). But I think we've all seen it done millions of times before, and I don't think it would suit Larry's style to go down that path.... And I am not talking about being with Loretta... Or the Blacks. Oh dear. I am referring to another season of Larry and the Blacks. On a side note, I think Larry has a lot of pizzazz and is a very captivating and alluring man. His energy on-screen is great! ....Tell you what....If I wasn't married and 14000 miles away he'd be in trouble And I'm more than half his age! But I LOVE older men!

Does anyone know from where the show gets the tango music that is in the background? Dennis

I had read somewhere, and this may have been mentioned on this forum, that the sixth season arc will involve Michael Richards (think recent racist tirade) and The Blacks. But that could just be a jet stream of bullshit coming out of my mouth.

I agree about Cheryl. I made a similar post about whether or not she should take him back. Cheryl knows what Larry is like. She knows that his eccentricities far outweight his ability to pick up her prescriptions without pissing off the pharmacist. So why keep asking him to do things she KNOWS are going to get him into trouble? And, Good God, I hope the show is not over. The last season was so good that it's not like the show's ability to make us wonder how much more trouble can Larry possibly get into is waning. I think ten seasons is the number to shoot for.

I loved this episode. I appreciated how it ended. I hope that there is at least another season. This is the funniest show on television. Larry is a genius. I'm a young black woman and all of my friends watch the show.

"Gerbil got in the elevator, hit 'up' and went up your assh*le?" -Leon Black ...This past season was incredible. Who couldn't ask for a better ending! Since the show began, I knew eventually Cheryl would leave Larry. She is perhaps the most intolerant and anger inspiring character on the show. Every time she belittled Larry I'd get so pissed! The Black's are perhaps the best thing to happen to CYE. Their mishaps with LD are hilarious, yet they tend to forgive him every time. What a surprise with Loretta at the end! That's so awesome; I hope that carries on through next season.

So I am assuming that the series finale ended with Merry Bhristmas from Larry and The Blacks. It was a fantastic season and a great show. With that said, is there going to be anymore shows or stand-up specials with Larry. I saw Jeff at a comedy club here in Atlanta and got a short taste of the show. Any news would be better news.

I don't like Cheryl at all. She complains about and belittles Larry and never backs him up. Some wife!!!!!! Of course, having a crappy wife kind of makes Larry's situation even funnier.
