First of all, let me just say how wonderful it is to discover other fans of Curb. It's my favorite show on TV. In fact, I like it better than I did Seinfeld. Anyway...
Having said that, I wasn't so enthralled with this season. The improbability of the setups, which, of course, is nothing new on Curb, seemed somehow more improbable than usual.
I didn't get the whole Black thing, really. Is it racism, or toying with racism, or not racism at all, the notion of having a family displaced by a Hurricane run throughout the series. Not a fan of Vivica. Loved Leon though. Thought last night's best line was when Leon matter-of-factly tells Larry re: the gerbil up his ass to "let him out."
The montage at the end, however, was totally great; surprising and funny.
Personally, I'm a big fan of Cheryl. She's very easy on the eyes, and she's a fine actress. On a show where little premium is placed on actual acting, I actually believed that she was a woman in a troubled marriage, and, on those occasions where Larry manipulated back into her arms, that she was truly in love with him.

Great season. I just loved the finale. I hope Larry keeps 'em coming. Take your time and give us the quality like this season. Great Job!

Truly awsome!
The series seems to have matured into a 'dramady'. It has it all. Commentary on societies quirks, the 'cliff hanger-type' scenarios, excellent!
I have laughed out loud all of these years but this season nailed it! And the finale was too funny.
I keep saying while watching the show, 'No Larry, No, don't you dare! Don't do it Larry'! But he does and I laugh.
The twist are sometimes expected but they also twist, great writing and improve. (The gargle sceen)
I cannot wait for the next season, but take your time if it will result in this type of performance.

Fantastic! If this was the last episobe the series ended on a high note. I was laughing throughout - Leon was this season's MVP, the final montage of Larry getting together with Vivica was as good as the montage of Larry being gentile in Arizona. As good as it gets. I went to bed with a smile on my face. The John Legend performance was wonderful - it is a standard from 1955 (Ray Charles recoeded a version) I think.

Extraordinary season and best ending ever!
I'm trying to understand some of the objections to the ending. I've read about the networks concern over Captain Kirk kissing Lt. Uhura, but that was forty years ago. Is it possible those people still exist?

Incredible chemistry between the Blacks and Larry this year. Brilliant casting. Great ending. The scene in the theatre and the door getting slammed in Susie's face gave me my biggest laughs in years. At first I thought the marital split was bad for the show but the end made up for it. Was it a dream sequence? Larry David, if you don't give us more we will hunt you down!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS.
I literally got giddy laughed-out-loud and cheered for Larry and every LarryPerson in the world at the end of the season 6 finale, tonight. That epsiode alone was worth a year's subscription to HBO... wait two years.
That and Rat Dog episode go in my Sitcom Hall of Fame.
Larry, you are my hero.
Leon, you've become a new hero.
