IMHO - The hot towell episode was the worst show. I love the series. What works for me is borderline believability, not un-believable.

Last season's final episode was absolutely the best and funniest ever.

The towell started out with Larry being just too stupid in the Doc's office. Then the Caviar comments were over the top again. I like stuff like "passing on a home tour", that is real and possible. Once in a while, the over the top stuff is a bit funny, but this whole show almost took my mostly complete love for this show away.

Just found this group so I could rant and sounds like others had the same opinion.

HBO and show staff, please keep some plausability to Larry. Tactlessness is great, but make it a little bit possible!

Larry does seem like a bigger asshole this season. Maybe it's because he doesn't have Cheryl to calm him down.
I'm nitpicking here, but Dr Morrison lives in a big house in a tony neighborhood...and no maid?
Maybe he's one of those old guys who likes to putter about the house...(but if I could hire someone to change the litterbox I would)

Here's the question with this episode...is Larry becoming just toooo irritating? I laughed till I fell on the floor...I called a friend to be sure they watched this episode...but, in earlier episodes this season, Larry seemed....more simply Larry.

Tonight, Larry seemed to be pushing the boundaries of his essential, (and vital?), likability....his behavior was so bad as to be...off putting.

Could people identify and see themselves in this position, doing something similar? Or, was Larry actually being hateful?

I laughed...but this will never be a favorite as the Car Blow Job episode or Funkhauser's Crazy Sister will always be watchable by me, again and again.

This episode, maybe no so much.

But this creative self destruction, if that is what I am seeing....will be fascinating to see how this plays out over the entire season.

Hummmm

Best Wishes, Traveller
