Richard Lewis is a hanger on. He never had a career of his own and tended to suck up to others.

I am back from San Diego and I had occasion to eat at both the In-N-Out Burger and Jack in the Box. As a true fan of Curb and all things Larry, I got a Jumbo Jack and had my son take my picture eating it. It was very good. At In-N-Out, I had the Double-Double, so I cannot fairly compare it to the Jumbo Jack. I like them both equally.

is it just me, or are there other people out there that love this show but can't stand richard lewis? i am surprised that he is on this or any other show. he is the worst "comic" i think i have ever seen!

This was such a beautiful episode. I cried the entire way through. My favorite episode has to be the Restaurant probably cause of all the cast members. I dissect and listen to the director cuts when available. Long live King David!

I've been watching Curb the past 2 years and I just discovered this newsgroup....... I OBVIOUSLY have been missing out on a lot of the fun as I thoroughly enjoy reading the comments, insights, thoughts and analysis ("analysi"???) here! This show is so fresh and sharp and........it obviously attracts that type of audience! I'm looking forward to checking in here after each new episode........it's great to have them "extended" via the thoughts and opinions expressed here!

I *loved* this episode. Easily one of the best since season three. So many great moments, capped with a fabulous ending. I like how the 5th season has gotten back to focussing on Larry's petty insecurites and neuroses rather than simply placing him in silly situations.
Based on the first five episodes alone, I already rank the current season above season four (which I found to be somewhat disappointing). If the current level of quality continues through the last five episodes, I would say that seasons three and maybe even one might be surpassed as well. Larry is bringing this show back to greatness again, no doubt.
My current ranking (halfway season mark):

Episode 45: "Lewis Needs A Kidney" was the one of the funniest episodes this season. My favorite part was when Marty Funkhouser was telling Larry and Jeff how noble they are, and how loyal they are to their freind, and that if it was him, he would do it too, and Larry goes "Well...you didnt actually get tested...you wanna go?...you can get tested, you may be his type" and Martys like "No..no..I'm probably not his type"

Richard does not look like Marty. What"s wrong with people?
Richard is a comic genius!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved Richard in Anything But Love with Jamie Lee. Now that Jamie is not doing a lot bring her in Larry and make her RL new girlfriend for a couple of shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
