Hi,
I'm curious your opinion, I have freinds and relatives that don't get what I see in the show. They don't think it's funny! The first ep I saw was "The Car Pool Lane" and i've been hooked since.

You know, I think people who don't "get Curb" are the ones trying too hard to get it. Know what I mean? They are looking into the show too deeply, comparing it to other shows. Curb is unique in itself, it's fresh, hysterically funny and just pure pleasure to watch. That's enough, IMHO!

I have wondered about this as well. I could not live w/o Curb and Larry's humor. I tell people about it a lot. They just don't get it- or they don't even get HBO and never rent the DVDs.
I think CYE is more popular than we realize. But being on HBO is different from being on a network.
It is similar to Seinfeld the show, and therefore, just like w/ Seinfeld, when people see it, they will get hooked and love it.
