I feel like a fool-while I loved his stand-up show I have started to change my mind about this guy becuase he is doing a film with JESSICA SIMPSON-YUCK!! Uncool. WOuldnt even pay 25 cents to see Jessica Simpson. If Jessica Simpson is the best you can do for a co-star then your unfunny and uncool.

You people are retarded who say this guy isnt funny! I just caught his show for the second day and this is one funny azz guy!! I laugh before he even opens his mouth-I like his comedy-it's more for male Gen-Xer's becuase most male comics suck up to females in the audience but this guy is a guy's guy comic-he is like Richard Pryor. He will put himself out there and I havent come across a funny comic in a decade. This guy is funny! He is up there with Marin Lawreance amd Eddie Murphy as far as stand up. You people that think this guy isnt funny are the ones who like that British guy who wears make-up (that more your speed)-this kid is funny.

WHAT CRAP! Holy Moly! All hype, nothing funny. I couldn't even watch the trailers after a while... Dane Cook is an annoying frat boy that was told he was "hilarious" by one too many drunken idiots. The Tourgasm show was horribly unfunny and embarrassing to watch. I was actually embarassed watching this show.... I watched two-- I couldn't bear any more.
So then I start to watch "Vicious Circle". Unfunny confirmed. What a gigantic disappointment.
HBO blew it this fall anyway-- The Wire is a great show but... where's the rest? Movies? They will lose some subscribers over this. Something is really wrong when a show like Deadwood gets canceled....
I actually registered today just because I can't believe anyone thinks this guy is funny that's not plastered.... even then--ughhh.

wow...this show's a stinker. Furthermore, it's a blatant rip-off of comedy central's "the comedians of comedy", only it's not funny like that show was. It's almost like a bad dream that HBO cancels series like Carnivale and Deadwood so they can run garbage like this and "The Comeback." Showtime, here i come.

i totally agree. i don't think he is the least bit funny. without having ever listening or seeing him before, i purchased his latest c.d./d.v.d.. i listened to it wondering when the funny stuff was going to start! unfortunately i bought into the hype, "funniest comic today", "americas no.1 comic", etc.. i personally think robert kelly, and gary gulman are much funnier.

Anyone that thinks Dane Cook is funny should have there head examined. This guy is a tool. He brainwashed college kids through his web site to believe that he was the MAN. Which is total bull. This guy has a huge data base of robot fans that will pay to see him , and they only pay $17 to see him , if you don't believe me check out any college he has ever played at, but he has absolutely zero talent. The last time I was in New York I hung out at the "New York Comedy Club" and saw a comedian named "Robert Bella" , a cross between Steve Martin and Rodney Dangerfield , the funniest comic I have seen in years !!!! You want to laugh , see this guy , believe me you will thank me for the rest of your life. Make sure you call to see if he is performing , that way you don't go there just to see the average comedians.

I wonder who at HBO greenlighted this show. Not only is the show excrutiatingly boring but the comics just aren't funny. I kept watching thinking I was missing something because I'm a huge fan of HBO original programming but man, what a waste of time. Seriously, does anyone think these guys are funny? Please...no Tourgasm 2.

McGregor13....have to agree, tonight's episode (how "we" started etc) had many moments when Kelly "almost" came out I thought.
This was a show that NEVER should have seen the "light of day" at HBO on Sunday night....obviously a concession to Cook to show this as well his stand-up special.

JM, I guess he is geared more towards a younger crowd, but I think he is hillarious. Everyone is amused differently.

OK - caught reruns of couple more episodes - I can't explain why I did - like the old addage of "watching a train wreck." I've tried to be somewhat philosophical around this show - trying to consider what exactly went so terribly wrong to make three comics on the road so fantastically boring. Now it is painfully clear that these are not three comics - they are three talentless jerks. No - beyond that - they are three total assholes. I've never seen such whining, bitching and hypocrisy put on exhibition in my life. DEAR HBO: PLEASE NO MORE DANE COOK!! PLEASE!!!!! NEVER AGAIN - NOT EVER!!

The show is terrible. Dane needed to bring some vibrant, rat pack type energy comics with him on the road. The Ska Brothers come to mind. Someone who would at least bring some life off of the stage. Watching the other 3 comics he brings along mug for camera time without bringing the funny is anything but.

I think last night's show was pretty funny. There was more comedy than the others. If you haven't liked the show this far, hopefully last night got a chuckle out of you.
