Anyone that thinks Dane Cook is funny should have there head examined. This guy is a tool. He brainwashed college kids through his web site to believe that he was the MAN. Which is total bull. This guy has a huge data base of robot fans that will pay to see him , and they only pay $17 to see him , if you don't believe me check out any college he has ever played at, but he has absolutely zero talent. The last time I was in New York I hung out at the "New York Comedy Club" and saw a comedian named "Robert Bella" , a cross between Steve Martin and Rodney Dangerfield , the funniest comic I have seen in years !!!! You want to laugh , see this guy , believe me you will thank me for the rest of your life. Make sure you call to see if he is performing , that way you don't go there just to see the average comedians.

all in all, the worst show I've ever seen.
Dane has lost credibility by supporting world's biggest douchebags Gary Gulman and Jay Davis.
Gary Gulman has to be a flaming homosexual. Just cuz you are muscular does not give you carte blanche to wear pink tank tops and beat your girlfriend.
Jay Davis...I mean...dude, give up on comedy. Seriously. This isn't like Michael Jordan getting cut from his high school basketball team and then triumphing. This is like "dude, you got a fucking spotlight on you and you still suck and everyone knows you suck so do us all a favor and just run really really far away...like, really far. Somewhere that has no access to pop culture." Not only are you not funny, you are the biggest pussy ever to have a corporation attempt to legitimize you. I think Bruno from Ali G might be more of a man than you.

Trock, I agree. I have been a fan of Bill Engvall WAY before BCCT. He is so freakin' hillarious, more so when he is not ot BCCT. I think the same goes for Dane Cook. These people trashing the show have no clue how funny he truly is. Dane Cook, and Bill Engvall are my absolute favorite comedians.

I have no idea why anyone would find this guy Dane Cook funny. He plays the crazy guy and it isn't funny at all. Smashing an ice cream cone in a kids face and watching a guy get hit by a car...even though he made this shit up, it is not funny and anyone who thinks it's funy is either an idiot or a pimple faced loser who got beat up in school. Pitiful. Probably the same people who like Cold Play and Nickel Back...exactly.

My stepson got me interested in Dane Cook, but I have to say, after watching every episode to date, this is the most "unfunny" show ever. There is hardly ANY on-stage minutes...barely even one joke per comic...and the "behind-the-scenes" material is banal, crass, indulgent, excessively vulgar...and worst of all, uninteresting and -- again -- "unfunny." And the cat-fights between Robert and Jay are painful to watch. If ANYONE has laughed at ANYTHING, please reply what, and why. A comic has a golden opportunity to make an impact with the HBO audience, and THIS is what he does with it? I'm sorry...I remember Rodney Dangerfield's comedy showcase, where he featured the great Sam Kinison, Bob Nelson, Rita Rudner and others, and this tourgasm show is a stream-of-consciousness, laugh-less waste.

I couldn't agree more. This isn't necessarily a comedy show. The theme of the show revolves around it, but there are more important things at work here. It's about behind the comedy, behind the tours, behind their relationships, etc.
When you watch Family Business (show on Showtime about adult film maker Seymore Butts) you see the things that go on behind the adult film industry. If you want to see porn, you're better off going and buying or downloading some. If you expect to see nothing but jokes on Tourgasm, you're better off waiting for the next HBO comedy special, or whatever you do for your comedy fix.

Jay bombing is just part of the realistic experience that is the comedy tour. A lot of people watch this show with unrealistic expectations. Dane, Gary, and Bobby are hilarious.

I totally agree. But I think Dane Cook taped an HBO special in Las Vegas, that is supposed to air soon. I can't find any info on their site about it now. I thought it as late June. I emailed the ADMIN, and have yet to get an answer. Any clue?

He mentioned this on the show last Sunday. He wants to give these guys a chance the biz hasn't. It took Dane, like 15 years to make it, and look how funny he is. I think he just truly loves comedy, and sees something in these guys we haven't yet. But I do think Gary Gullman is funny. He had some good bits on Last Comic Standing. Dane Cook makes me laugh so hard I cry....I freakin' love him!

A show about a bunch of hack comedians that surround the best in the business right now, and you claim it's about the "struggle at different stages of their career"
sounds like an excuse for this garbage if you ask me.
Who here heard of Ron White, or Larry the Cable Guy, before BCCT?
That little blonde chick that had the sensitive killer jokes is so fucking annoying I want to punch her in the vagina.

this show is supposed to be about the struggle of diffrent comics in diffrent stages of their careers, i mean if it was supposed to be about making big bucks of course it would have included top comics and big tv ads and this huge deal. i think this is danes way of showing everyone what its like for comics and the kind of things they have to go through to make it to the top in their business.i cant wait to see whats next so on with the show!
