Seems folks here in Deadwood have alot to offer on the subject of politics. It's all over the place in so many threads its hard for a hoople like me to find it all.
So i thought maybe if there was a single thread for political opinion and debate it might be easier to indulge in reading it.
I hope so anyways cause some of the stuff I've read in here has all the promise of a good Sunday morning pundit throw down. But a lot fuckin wittier and funnier.

They are the same bed wetters....those that are frightened of bad guys being locked in a hole a few miles away and those that are afraid that the government will control health care. The minute you give into their paranoid delusions, logic will have no firm ground and you will deserve a government as you had during the W years.

I agree. As are the people who are fearful about having the trials in NYC. I get that people who live in the vicinity would be creeped out, but it's only right that they are held there.
As usual, it's the "media" who are starting this fear mongering & keeping the flames fanned.

Illinois politicians are elbowing each other in the ribs fighting for space in front of the media over the question of housing Gitmo prisoners here in Illinois. Republican Mark Kirk is engaging in the party's standard fear mongering. Sen. Durbin and Gov. Quinn say bring the prisoners here. We've got a maximum security prison mostly empty just waiting for them. No one I know is concerned about safety. This pussified response by some politicians is downright embarrassing.

Read McLendon's bio, he is a real economic parasite, a man who is absolutely worthless to society yet manages to drain off large sums of money in exchange for nothing.

And Charlie Weis is sitting at the kitchen table, with a dozen blueberry and butter pancakes, trying to figure out a way to dodge Connecticut..
As for Manny the Floyds don't relish the Manny attack without mercy onslaught....unless they can weasel a 65-35 cut.

Would it not be neat if they found some cave paintings in the moon water hole? Or a fossil...
I mean the moon rock came from far away...and if it has water wherever it came from, and what are the odds of it hitting Gaia from billions to the billions miles of away, there must be water too...

The man murdered the moon miner over the queen of hearts.
Dying the moon miner staggered out to stare at old Earth rise. He reached for her as he died.
After he was buried his soon to be moon momma cried and clutched pieces of moon rock. His old moon dog looked at the great blue orb and howled.
And the moon silently kept its orbit.
