Politics in DEADWOOD -Bring It !

Seems folks here in Deadwood have alot to offer on the subject of politics. It's all over the place in so many threads its hard for a hoople like me to find it all.

So i thought maybe if there was a single thread for political opinion and debate it might be easier to indulge in reading it.

I hope so anyways cause some of the stuff I've read in here has all the promise of a good Sunday morning pundit throw down. But a lot fuckin wittier and funnier.

Thanks.

Yum. I don't care how much rat poison is in my system, I'm going to have a glass of good scotch over Thanksgiving.

"That racism inclination still exists, and I think it's bubbled up to the surface because of belief among many white people -- not just in the South but around the country -- that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country."

~ President Jimmy Carter, on the continuing racism directed towards African Americans.

"This is a dangerous world, and this cat isn't remotely qualified to handle it. This guy has no clue. I promise you."

We aren't allowed to roast hotdogs and marshmallows in the chiminea. It was a 50th birthday give to Mr. Z from his sibs, and it is used only as a firebug impulse panacea - he burns all the yard waste in it. Sometimes he's out there all day burning branches, just walking back and forth between the branch pile and the fire, like a happy 12 -year-old boy.

What are ye gonna get drunk on 1926 Macallan Scotch and play William Tell with the ladies?

Or go Gatoring with the Gurkhas....an air boat, an arrow, a stick of TNT, a cigar, a cooler of corona, an exploding reptile....fuck sounds like an early eighties Burt Reynolds movie.

We just need that evil Albino guy that did the great stunts....and we can roll film...

I bought the chiminea which my godson and them own as a Christmas present over ten years ago, and I enjoy it on many an occasion. We are approaching the right time of year for this sort of thing.

Speaking of times of year, the County Faire begins tomorrow and lasts ten days. (I may be the only person hereabouts who adds the final "e".) I myself am waiting for the Fiestas de las Americas in early October. Better food.

We should have known she could do Lady McBeth with both hands tied...above her head.

Henry Rollins reeks of wickedness...but methinks, thanks to his tat showing, a bad end awaits...

That show is really good...and who, besides Al, would have thought that Peg Bundy could be so bad?
