Well Wild Bill would make a helluva a vampire...he could kick those Near Dark Blood sucking rebel cocksuckers undead confederate asses back to Texas... The Captain would be a hell of a zombie....the undead of Deadwood? What about a Were Wu Pig? And, of course, I still miss Crop Ears...but I'm not sure he's really dead....at least I hope not

I've never been a Monty Python fan, but sometimes you just have to admit that the bird is dead. I hope I'm wrong. Having spent the first almost thirty years of my adult life as a conservative, I've been wrong on most occasions, and I'd be delighted to be wrong about this, but it seems to me the only way we're going to see a return of Deadwood is if the story changes, and the plot revolves around Alma Ellsworth and her forbidden love with Ellis Swearingen, a seven hundred year-old vampire from the Netherlands who came to New Amsterdam in 1656, eventually making his way to Deadwood because (a) he liked the name, and (b) he could remain outside the law while preying on the camp with the help of his collection vampire whores. Either that, or Al becomes a therapist ... with an entourage.

He was married to someone else for maybe 2 years, got divorced & married his screen sister. In that scene, Deb reminded me of what CS Lewis wrote after his wife's death : "No one ever told me that grief felt so much like fear. I am not afraid, but the sensation is like being afraid. The same fluttering in the stomach, the same restlessness." His words are very true.

I agree , Peebs. Nip/Tuck.........SPOILERS.............................................. What is it with these 2 guys , they only attract over the top psycho bitches ( Liz not included) . Teddie is totally nuts, now that she has seen Sean's will ( why was it in a file in the office ??) , she is going to eliminate Sean's children . He told her the younger 2 are his heirs. Since their mom is going to make an appearance, I am hopiing her "mama bear" instincts kick in. I love how Christians' efforts to get rid of Mike ( is that his name?) totally backfired. And that Mike knew he was being fucked over by Christian but went with it anyway. I love this show.

She said, "I'm broken", and he said, "You're not, I am". You could just see the disbelief in his eyes. I thought Deb's performance in that scene was totally Emmy-worthy. You know, they are so good at playing brother and sister, it's REALLY hard to remember they're married. Incredible show.

I have grown to love Deb, she's becoming a good actress and seeing her break down almost made me cry last week. Rita is gorgeous but kinda dim.

> prediction ; deb will become more needy, more > self-absorbed, more whiny and more in need of a > better skilled sniper. It almost sounds as if you're using "whiny" and "self-absorbed" in a pejorative sense. Deb has grown on me and I like her almost as much as Dexter's awesome wife. From this point of view, I found the episode disturbing insofar as the fact that the Trinity Killer is a family man might serve to encourage Dexter in the notion that he can have it all - his marriage, his kids, and his ... hobby, whereas I was hoping that Martha ... or Rita, rather, would cure him of his bad habit of kidnapping people, wrapping them in plastic, murdering them, and dismembering their corpses, or as I like to call it, acting out. "I'm going to choose not to misinterpret that." ~ Dexter Morgan. -- Edited by Ecclesfan at 10/28/2009 8:35 AM PDT
