The original "The Prisoner" TV series, starring Patrick McGoohan, was created at a time when there were questions about conformity of social norms and spy stories were all the rage. More than that, it was a kind of precursor to the movie The Matrix. McGoohan, number 6, was always encountering a new number two. He would ask "Who is number one?" and number two would always answer "You are number six". The emphasis was never put on the word "are" but after a while the viewer got the idea that if number six was actually number one, then perhaps he had imprisoned himself (by conforming, don't ya know). In any case, though it had a meager budget, the series had a cult following. This new series from AMC has a much bigger budget, but really is not as good as the first one, IMO. There are no layers of meaning and mystery.

Come on folk. Let's get more creative. Certainly it will have to be a plausible plot twist that complicates the plot and is shocking. So what would you do with the somewhat illogical revelations?
I would make the Trinity Killer's wife a secret accomplice to his crimes. That's right, she covers his back, but we haven't seen it yet. Dexter is surprised, but never out of the game. Tension and complexity sells the show which has actually been pretty dull this year.

I actually thought about her last night, but I don't know why. Who knows? It was prolly Astor. She's pissed at the world for not having an iPod.

hmmmmm. I don't remember him being much taller than Deb & he wouldn't have been that close either.

If Trinity didnt' shoot Lundy & Deb, who did? I still am going with Anton. I think he's about the right height, Deb didn't die but Lundy did, their things were stolen to make it look like the Vacation Killer......not Trinity.
From the first time I saw that scene, I was struck by the lack of reaction from Lundy. He was an FBI agent, yet he let a "stranger" get so close?? And the look on his face I think was one of recognition, he recognized Anton from his photo ( had they met face to face, not sure), that's why he didnt' say anything or step forward. It was like "Oh crap, he caught us together." A gun just doesn't fit the Trinity's MO.
I don't think it was a random shooting since things rarely happen randomly on that show & again, there was no response from Lundy .
So is the reporter chick going to die in the bath tub? She is a real sleaze.

Me too. I hope Carol Hannah wins. I think Irina makes beautiful clothes too, but, damn, she's kinda bitchy.
I can't believe this season is almost over. Seems like it was just getting started.

I'm watching it now, & then they are repeating it right after, so I will go to E! to watch Soup & get a good laugh.
I like the one blond chick because she's from Ohio, but I like Carol Hannah's stuff best, have liked her stuff all season.

I've been watching Say Yes to the Dress, but will give up the new one to catch up on Wunway. I have missed at least two of those & must get caught up .
And then The Soup is on at 10. yikes
