I saw this poet on Def Poetry a while ago, but hopefully there is someone who knows his name or remembers atleast who I'm referring to. He was on the show and his poem was about his son and how he got caught up in the streets. In the poem his son was killed, and he talked about chasing after his son and then seeing him die. He said something like how he picked up the gun and shot back at the boy who killed his son. And that's all I can remember. I'm 19 now so it had to have been a while ago I dont remember his name, the poems title, or anything. So if anyone does remember it please please please send it to my email or leave me the name here as a response please. I've been looking/searching for this poem for like my whole life. LOL but yea help me out please.
