Dexter, first of all I want to wish you, your girlfriend, and family a very, VERY Merry Christmas, and a MUCH Better New Year than Ever!!!!
Now let me introduce myself. My name is William Young, and I was a SP/4 in the Army with 475th. Trans. Co. and 8th. Special Forces, and I know much of what you are dealing with as far as your P.T.S.D. is concerned! I have had it sense 1968 when I saw a guy had known for about a month shotgunned in the back, 4 feet in front of me and then had that shotgun at my head! So I have some idea of your pain inside Buddy! I want you to know that if you ever need someone to talk to are just want to talk, I will be here for you! That is what Solders do for each other. We may be form different wars, but wars none the less! Also I am very, Very proud of you for getting your life together and going to school! I know you will make a great Law enforcement officer!! I went to college and am a alcohol and drug consoler now, so I Know you can do what ever you want to do!! Just go for it! I would like to hear from you sometime if you get the chance to see how you are doing.
