So nobody knows the name of the painter in this episode? Robert Nieche... doesn't seem to EXIST.

Wreckslee, just want to congratulate you for a spot on performance -- watching the show tonight I thought you exactly capture what assistants go through. My ex-publicist was an assistant once and is so much like your character in demeanor. He tells tales about the kind of abuse he says assistants receive, and Lloyd actually has it EASY On another subject: do we think Ari drove to Napa? He made a U-turn and drove by the SM pier. I got mixed up by all the double-crossing at the end.

Did anybody else think that Barbara was going to throw herself at E in the elevator?

Reading posts in anticipation of tonight's episode (yes, I know I've gotten hooked when I read the b-boards!), just wanted to add a thought re: Vince's infatuation with Mandy Moore character. I thought it was pretty interesting, given that the Vince character has been shown to consistently sleep with the "perfect 10" women, that the writers have him falling for the "cute", ostensibly more "real" woman (supposed to be smart, interested in things outside of acting and Hollywood, etc). It parallels the role of Eric in Vince's life--i.e., is MM the romantic equivalent of E in Vince's eyes? (Of course, writers have left plenty of room for him to be wrong in his perception.) Anyway, thought it made for much more interesting possibilities. Agree with previous post-ers, though, that viewer has to read in a lot as to why V is hooked; probably because real focus is on the relationship portrayed between E and Vince!

Hey all. Really glad to see things picking up on the Entourage message board. It looks like the audience is growing and that's way cool. I gotta admit, that I still think the writing on the show was better the first season. But I love the show, and it's still great. So, even though I still think this episode is one of the weakest, doens't mean that it sucked. I always appreciate an episode more after the first viewing. You catch a lot more subtleties in the acting. Like did everyone notice that Drama was completely hammered at the end of this episode? He was pounding the whole night because he got fired. Not only the things he said, but his little nuances, and it shows the most drunk we've seen him. It is kind of a bummer that he lost that gig, though. And if Vince loses Aquaman, that'll really suck. Really hope that doesn't happen. And Timothy Busfield (the director) will always be best remembered by me as Poindexter in Revenge of the Nerds. A point of interest about his bit in this episode is that Poindexter actually got his first hard-on in Reveng of the Nerds. And Rex, you rule, man.

That weather has to wreck havoc with lots of peoples schedules. It must be hard to try and plan things for when shooting is done. Lloyd has to be back, he's a riot !! I like his and Ari's interactions better than Ari and Emily. Thanks again !! :p

downdog and smallgrin- when does the new season start shooting? what a great question... hee hee the honest truth is that i don't know and here is why: season 2 started shooting the second week of january 2005 but then the first four or so months of the year were unusually rainy in southern california and the rains played havoc with the shooting schedule so by the end of shooting season 2 at the end of may/beginning of june there was a rumor going around the set that season 3 might not start shooting until March of 2006! so i don't know... on one hand i am sure they would love to normalize the schedule a bit but on the other hand having less of a head start and having less in the can might make the powers that be a bit tense we'll see btw when we finished shooting we didn't actually know if there would be a season 3 we all thought season 2 was good so we made some assumptions but as you all know the official announcement wasn't made until middle of july and on a personal note i have no guarantee that lloyd will be back... i know what happens the rest of this season and lloyd can't disappear like emily did but will lloyd be back for the entire season 3 i am doing a lot of wishing

" I love all three shows, why choose among them when most of the rest of TV is so bad? The Comeback IS getting funnier but the problem is that Lisa Kudrow, unlike Larry David on Curb, is a nice person. Who wants to see her put down every week? Not me. I get a chuckle out of a few male posters who want to scare off women from the show, saying it's a guy thing. Hey, Entourage, like every HBO show, needs both men and women viewers. I like how loyal the guys are to each other. Loyalty like that is a nice thing to see on TV, especially in this me-first, me-last world. Vince is so cool about being good looking. You can't get mad at the guy. For being short, E is still a tower of decency. Here's a community college guy about to hit the big time. Go E! Drama makes me laugh so hard it hurts. Inside each of us is a Drama, still dreaming the impossible dream, convinced that he's the star of the world. And Turtle reminds us that the guy who keeps the pizzas coming and gets the cable hooked up makes the world run.

The last Birthday of Mandy's they spent together could have been when Vince proposed to her and she turned him down. Just a guess....
