Episode 26: Guys and Doll

With Aquaman a megahit, Vince's dream project, Medellin, is now within reach-but to get an offer, he must first charm the film's multi-millionaire producer.

Why is nobody else talking about the funniest part in this whole episode.... Turtle eating shit while trying to run into the restaurant while snatching his valet ticket. That part had my crying for a while. By far this was one of the best episodes for this show. Also I'm glad that this episode just got all those people looking for details to shut the fuck up. Incase you missed these points here they are.

*Eric gets an Aston Martin because Vince felt bad that he gave his away.
*Turtles rap career is about to flourish
*So is Drama's
*Aquaman squashed Spiderman
*Ari isn't getting paid for Aquaman or any of it's sequels.
*Sloan is coming back.

I think this show teaches that patience really pays off. Just chill out if the details aren't there, they're coming. As far as the length of the show goes, I like it being 30 minutes. It leaves you so hungry for more. Plus I rather get 20 episodes spread out rather the 10 hour length episodes every summer.

Me and couple of buddies were talking about how we would love to see Aquaman if it was made into an actual movie

Although I agree that Vince is a smart guy, I don't think that this particular instance demonstrates that he is as smart as E. What I do think this shows is that Vince is a good actor (as if we didn't already know that).

Vince never said that he didn't know what Dom's tell was and Vince did not in fact know that Dom scratching his neck was a tell until Dom himself confirmed it. Vince got Dom to admit to stealing the doll by convincing Dom that he (Vince) KNEW Dom was lying and making him feel guilty for it.

You could say that Vince showed that he is as smart as E by being the one to uncover the truth, but I think it was his acting skills plus his stature as the star/money maker of the crew that made Dom spill the beans and not so much his intelect/smarts.

I do agree that Vince has hidden intellect that get brought out when HE wants to. He doesn't want to bring it out too often because as he's said a number of times, I'm an actor... let me act!

Why does anyone really care if the show wins an Emmy or not? We all know it's good so an award doesn't make it better.

If you need any further proof of how insignificant those types of awards are...Three 6 Mafia has an Oscar and William Shatner has an Emmy for The Practice. 'nuff said.

I stand corrected and I appreciate you all correcting me. I feel better know. I think we should have gotten more love for the boys but four isnt bad. I think Piven should pull off this award (imagine that acceptance speech). Two nods in the same category is interesting (hope it doesnt split the vote in the academy) and Outstanding Casting tells how well the chemistry is on the show. Good Luck and thanks for the link, a lot of categories. Best make up with prosthetic (what will they think of next)

Sloane is banging by the way. HOw great would the threesome be with Sloane and Shana's asst. I would keep my on demand just for that.

Well I dunno man... She might not have been a great character, but she was an important one... I mean she is essentially the only remaining tie to the old agency, she could give Eric some insight into the whole hollywood scene that Ari couldn't and she gave the show it's only other real relationship aside from Mandy & Vince last season.

Plus she's hot. lol.

I only see one Emmy nom for this year.
I hope J Piv wins it.

I also saw someone mention Sloane. Except for that little part in the first ep I really hope she doesn't come back. She's such an un-important character!

The Emmy's are rigged!!!!

No nods for our boys. Ari and E definitely deserve at least some form of recognition. If the crappy season of the Sopranos (God forgive me) can get a nod for BEST DRAMA SERIES, then the boys should have gotten some love.

In response to where Sloane has been, she actually was seen coming out of the limo with the mom's in the first episode but if you blink you will miss it.

I love the series but this 30 minute BS is killing me. NO exagerration, I think this weeks episode was 20 minutes. After the intro music and so forth I am convinced the episode was 20 minutes. Is Entourage the next HBO series to go to TBS so they can wrap it up in 30 with commercials? I hope not, to censor certain things on this show take away from its character. Look what it has done to "Sex in the City".

Looking forward to the Vegas Episode it looks great.

I was watching the first episode of this season and E briefly mentions taking Sloan to the AM premiere - but what the hell ever happened to her? They seem to have just forgotten about her. Think shell come back? And even if she does, doesnt this constitute kind of a big plot hole considering how long shes been gone?

For some reason, I can't stand Dom! I think he's an asshole and he needs to go for good! He'll only ruin things for Vince in the long run.

Ari's "cuntmuscle" line was great, so was the whole "coffee creamer" thing. I can't believe Dom thought it was real coke, what a fucking jackass!

Drama and Turtle cracked me up as usual and I must've missed the line where Drama asked if there were any shots of him in the Bat Mitzfah video because I don't remember him saying that

And will someone please tell the show to stop showing Dom's nasty ass naked and to start showing Ari with no clothes on because he's fuckin banging!

DOM NEEDS TO GO NOW!!!!
