It's Vince's birthday, and with it comes the promise of a new year...and a new (hot) agent, Amanda, who wants Vince to do a high-profile period film.

Maybe he didnt want it to air as is has and how HBO has set it up to air. -- Edited by jrenai at 04/17/2007 6:52 AM

Can you find where Doug Ellin says that, it'd be much appreciated. I always thought that complete seasons were going from a little after the filming of one movie to just before the filming of the next -- i.e., seasons are the time between movies.

> How come this is considered season 3 and not 4? idk jr but hows it saving money for HBO if season 4 airs June 17th? the real reason is beacause there hasnt been an ending to this season they left us hanging as u remember in season 2 Ari gets fired from his work but it kinda rides out for a little longer and Vince meanwhile still was doing Aquaman and pretty much wrapped it up... Season 3a just ended with "your fired Ari" and that is quite a cliff hanger seeing as that Ari is loved by many. you might be right but i dont see how it can save any money or help renegotiate anything... nothings really changed season 4 still comes out in about a month

> How come this is considered season 3 and not 4? Doug Ellin considers it season 4, but HBO calls it 3.5, so they can bill it out as a third season. I guess for each season a show is on, HBO will re-negotiate the money, so they can save by calling it 3 and not 4. -- Edited by jrenai at 04/16/2007 3:19 PM

BECAUSE IT WAS ORIGINALLY GOING TO BE AIRED LAST YEAR BUT THEY DELAYED IT TO PLAY BEHIND THE SOPRANOS. SOPRANOS GOT DELAYED ACTUALLY(SOMETHING ABOUT JAMES GANDOLFINI'S LEG) BUT WITH ARIS FIRING AT THE END OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEASON, IT WORKS WELL AND IT'S HBO WE'RE ONTO THE NEXT MESSAGE BOARD

Personally, if I was writing it, I'd have him do the Wharton flick first. Something would have happened to Medellin and it was "put on hold". Vince does the Wharton flick, it bombs miserably, and now it's a RISK to have him work on Medellin, even though Paul Haggis still wants him.
