Episode 70: Running on E

With production on his next film delayed, Vince searches for ways to amuse himself. Andrew tells Ari he's ended his affair with a co-worker, but Ari has Lloyd keep an eye on him anyway. Drama auditions actresses to play his new love interest on Five Towns; Jamie-Lynn takes Turtle shopping for back-to-school clothes; and a bored E contemplates his next move.

Ari's wife looks to be a Victoria Secret or Fredericks of Hollywood type of girl; always with class.

In this episode, Perry Reeves (Ari's wife) is wearing black lingerie. Where can this be purchased from?

Not really, There were many of the same comments about the topic but I just picked yours because it was the closest to where I was on the thread. JMO and Ill state again that I was generalizing and responding to all that agreed with you..............

You werent responding to me? Is that why you quoted my post and responded to my particular complaint directly? LOL. They obviously don't know what the core fans want, because they keep producing this weak version of Entourage. Keep being an Entourage writers apologist, I'm going to use my own brain and be critical of what they have done to what used to be the best show on television. By the look of your thumbnail youre a female, NOT the core demographic. So you obviously have no clue about what this show should be. Go watch lifetime or Big Love.

They do and they did and thats why you saw the scene as it was written. so why make such a big deal about Drama's response to the models as it was written? I wasnt responding to you or anyone individual, but mostly the complaint that Drama would complain about having to kiss the models........

Drama has an inflated view of himself? Nooooooooo. Thank you, Captain Obvious. You keep stating the obvious, its not like this is the first season I've watched. You said it yourself that guys watch the show to see hot models, so maybe the writers should take that into consideration. These are fictional characters, a concept you don't seem to grasp. The writers can make them do whatever they want, so t hey should start giving us what we want, hot models, not Meadow Soprano. Please don't try to explain the writers motives to me anymore, I get it.

E seems to make it a habit to go after girls who seem attainable but can't survive his relationship with Vince. Sloan couldn't. I wonder if Ashley can?

Yea I loved that whole scene with Drama finding his show-girlfriend. To me it looked like Drama was the problem and not the girls. Plus, like everyone has said, Ed Burns Natalie Portman line was well delivered and damn funny.

Bit parts such as this are often the way that models and newcomers break "into the business" - enough to get their SAG card, but not a lot of heavy lifting acting-wise. Drama asking for a name actress is over the top, but perfect for his egotistical jackass.

Yes, he might enjoy models outside of his work but he values his career a bit more and knows that models playing oposite his character doesnt say the same as an accomplished actress does. Thats why he chose such a stretch when he picked Natalie. Thats the league he sees himself in.......

We all know that every guy that tunes into Entourage wants to see the model and not the accomplished actress.....

You mean casting Natalie Portman instead of a model is going to boost ratings? lol, yeah I know, thats why theyre called stars, but thanks.

I get it, but I didn't like it. Drama just seemed creepy, a lot creepier this season compared to seasons pasts. He loves models, remember last season when they went to the hotel to find that model that Vince liked? He was all about models, even though he kept getting rejected "Am I not the one with the network fucking TV show?" haha, classic. It would be cool if Natalie Portman did the show, but she's not. Meadow Soprano is, yeah a lot of people are going to tune in to see her. I'm probably just bitter about it because I dont like her on the show and it was just more face time for her and less Cars, Mansions, Weed, Models, Vince banging Models, Ari yelling. Hey, Meadow, Go back to Jersey!

OK so Turtles first real girl wants to dress him. Happens a lot for some guys that want to let the women take some sort of control in the relationship. Personally, I have never let a man buy me any clothing that I didn't personally pick out and the one time I did get an article from a guy I took it right back in front of him so he would learn the lesson and not do that again. Same goes for my husband............I have never bought him one piece of clothing. He picks his own stuff out. Not even going there...............JMO

I guess all the complaining I see on this board is a bunch of guys that cant just tell their woman to butt out of thier closets...........

lol. How do you equate us thinking that JLS buying Turtle clothes being boring is a sign that our girlfriends run our stuff? That's a bit of a stretch.

This is the only show that where I actually watch the new episodes on a weekly basis. I care, a little, about the storyline. That is all.

If you would have watched the previous season's you would know that Drama doesn't like natural beautiful women. I don't remember what season but the guys rate this chick a nine for something and he rates her a 6. Thats what makes Drama funny, he thinks he better looking and a better actor than what really is. Watch the previous seasons then Drama's lines wouldn't surprise you so much.
