Eric considers the management-company offer while trying to patch things up with Ashley after a Freudian slip. Ari finally gets Mrs. Ari to forgive him at home, but an appearance by Mrs. Klein tests his resolve at work. Drama tries to protect Jamie-Lynn from a disreputable network executive.

I think it's been mentioned in this thread if you look at the earlier posts. Pretty sure the title is "What mean the world to you" - the rapper is Cam'ron

Is it just me or does E's new girl Look Like A Gremlin? I hate looking at her! It's ironic that everything she said about Charlie is the exact same way I feel about her! Doug lose the gremlin and give me more Sloan (maybe a sex scene?). Sloan is BANGING from the front and Back! Nice Ass!

They kinda did go that angle when Sloans friend was visiting and they had the threesome..........Do you remember that stuff? IMO it was awkward to watch from a female point of view, but Im sure the men loved it............. E had strong feelings for this blond friend of Sloans but then she moved away and lucky for E. Not interested in visiting that storyline again but it would be good to see her come back and maybe have E wonder what he ever saw in her because she maybe had some bad habits?? , and maybe that would make him like Sloan all the more........... Im sure there will be some new chick at "the firm" now where E is working that will give Sloan a run for her money............ -- Edited by jrenai at 08/23/2009 8:00 AM PDT

Hi jrenai, I agree with you fully! Yes, Sloan is definitely not worried about her competition at the moment. Bring in someone else on her level, that would be fun to watch. I too have enjoyed watching Ari's wife from the beginning. She has always been a straightforward woman in all aspects of her life, showing tender vulnerability, while keeping her true belief in tact. She portrays a solid wife and mother too; always with class. Only my view, but after the car thing i am feeling she needs something more, not another soap opera episode, more on the possibility of her own small business. Something to get Ari all fired up about again in a real relationship way, not the Andrew baggage thing way. Thanks again for your reply. I hope the writers take a look at your Sloan angle of strong competition. It could turn around the entire E persona again.

Thanks for your response and yes, I dont even think E. the character knows what he wants. He doesn't even realize that he is so madly in love with Sloan..............Well I think he does because he does pour it out to her but I dont think he is ready to do the work to make the relationship work and this is why Sloan has cut him off. Now, Ashley, I cant stand her character as much as the rest of the bunch here but the reality is that she is easy for E. and he knows it and is willing to settle for that right now. Ironically now she is becoming hard work for him and I think he will come to the realization that if he is going to have to work so hard for something then the prize needs to me more on the level of Sloan......... Sloan is in control here because she has seen her competition and balks at it.............So good to watch.............. I wonder what would happen if a love interest more on the level of Sloan were to come into play....................Then you would see Sloan have a change in her game........... My favorite female character is Mrs. Ari..........She is the quintesential perfect woman of the show.............. But Sloan is my close second -- Edited by jrenai at 08/23/2009 7:08 AM PDT

Thats true. Many ppl forget or either don't know that vincent was originally going to be a pair of shoes that never speaks just tells them things via paper notes. (Ellin has admitted this many times).

I think people complain about E as inherently people dont like the "bring us down" guy, by that I mean the guy that keeps us on the ground and makes sure we save some money, gets sleep at night or doesnt drink too much. E is that guy who keeps Vince out of trouble and makes sure he is going in the right direction...Hence in your life, you dont like someone who plays the part, you dont like E.......Have a website but cant maintain it? Hi jrenai, thank you for this view. I never thought about it before. I think you are right. To be honest, E has always been my favorite character because he always has shown insight, drive at times, virtue, intensity with a conscious {the foundation of the group}. And possibly the writers are showing us how he has those traits by how he is handling Ashley, with kid caring gloves. And he will get sick of it soon. It seems in real life that others see what we may not see, because we are too close to the person or situation. This is one of those times. We the audience and his friends see it, he hasn't yet, but will. He is soft with Ashley, but yet the girl he really likes-Sloan, he has the passion with, the energy again, he intensifies & explodes at her at times. He knows she can handle it, where Ashley would go in a corner and cry. Sloan & Jamie are my favorites for the women of the show. However, maybe the writers are going somewhere with this. Possibly have E break up very soon with Ashley, date a lot of models, and then find someone that has the sensitivity E requires, with an edge, the whole package. Someone like a Anne Hathaway; just a thought. Thanks again for your view, if this is what the writers were trying to convey, i get it now and E can move forward with his life so we can have fun watching them all again and looking forward to the next episode.

I'm not bashing the actress, because > she's obviously really good at playing a person you > want to strangle. The writing this season is > horrific, or at least not up to Entourage's standards > of previous seasons. The reality is that there are many Ashley's out there in the real world and the writers and producers wanted to convey that. The persona of Sloan wouldnt be there without the reality of the Ashleys of the world............. the truth is just as irritating as the show portrays it to be

> this episode was the best one by far in the season. > It created some problems and i enjoyed it way more > than the others ones this season. Funny , this was my least favorite episode of the season, but then again it did have some of the old first season feel to it that some here complain that the new season lacks. I like the newer direction and some of the newer flavors that weve seen this season and some here do not...........so to each his own............
