Agents in Hollywood don't answer their own phone our pick out their own anniversary gifts, assistants do. Ari Gold, who goes through assistants like blow at a cover shoot, has stuck with Lloyd for several years now, even letting him try his hand at a few clients of his own.

Wow!! what a schedule.....
You're good. Your talent would be there thin or fat.......... Just stay healthy and you'll be fine.
I havent seen my Chinese medicine doctor in over 6mos because Im on a financial diet, but I gotta get back to her because the acupuncture treatments help keep me balanced. Its all about balance..........

my weight? we-ell...
i read the scripts for 601, 602, and 603 back in january
and so i knew right away ari was gonna ask lloyd to lose weight- so i thought "this is great! nobody in production is asking me to lose weight for real but why don't i go ahead and try to do it on my own." i hired a new trainer that kicks my butt! and... nothing. i tried so hard to lose weight and frankly, i think i gained a little weight by the time we finished shooting the season. (sigh) now i will say that whether or not anyone in production hoped i would lose weight, it turned out that they clearly did not think i did. because- when you get to episode 9, ari will have a line that begins: "lloyd, if you had lost the weight i told you to..." not gonna tell you the rest of the line because it is a funny line and the line appears in a pretty important scene and i don't wanna give anything away.
i had a meeting with my manager today and i said (only half jokingly) that i had decided to be a happy, jolly, funny fat actor but he rejected that idea...
we'll see what happens!
today is wednesday, august 26. friday i am being interviewed on cnn about the season and lloyd's blogs/vlogs. monday i am doing chelsea lately on the e! channel. september 12 i will be in minnesota picking up an award.

I'm not sure that Lloyd has the fortitude to babysit Lizzie. She pretty much seems to get what she wants.

Never ever get rid of Lloyd. He is witty and conscientious. Ari's own children and wife said it best when they implored to him, "Don't get rid of Lloyd, we like him". Ari could never get rid of him now. And we know that deep down inside Ari needs Lloyd around too. Who does he call when he is lost? Always, Lloyd.

The only reason Ari is not ready to promote Lloyd is because Ari cant get through the day with out Lloyd. In the episode when Loyd had a breakup with Tom and he stopped coming to office, Ari freaked out and Ari knows without Lloyd it very hard for him to survive.
I think in this season Ari will have a melt down or he will confess to Lloyd that the only reason he is not promoting him is because Ari really needs him as a assistant and of course they make a great team ...
