Ari Gold fears no man, but he bows to the demands of wife #1. The independently wealthy Mrs. Ari gave up an acting career to be a Hollywood Power Wife, and she makes sure her husband carves out family - and couples counseling - time, despite the demands of his job. though she may tolerate her husband's wandering eye, it's Mrs. Ari who gets what she wants in the end. They say that behind every powerful man is an equally or more powerful woman. I am not sure I could do all that she does, but she sure makes it worth watching!

"Mrs. Ari" is a great character, she doesn't get a lot of the credit deserves, hopefully again like with Debi, we will see more of her this season also

I'm always intrigued by women who have the balls (pardon the expression) to play the role of "power wife" to extremely powerful, influential men. What makes them do stick with it? Is it really the money? The fame? It isn't usually love that keeps them there. Love isn't always enough. What kind of woman deep down can live a life where they play a supporting role? Perry Reeves is a fantastic actress by the way - perfect! -- ********* Host_Ginna HBO Forums Host
