Turtle Played by Jerry Ferrara

Turtle knows that he's living the perfect life, and doesn't care he's gotten there by riding Vince's coattails. Always on the hustle, Turtle takes advantage of every opportunity LA has to offer. Loyal to Vince and dedicated to maintaining the LA lifestyle, Turtle is now in charge of running the day-to-day operations of the house.

Discuss all things Turtle here.

I am not sure how much I like the 'sensitive' turtle. Time will tell!

Turtle is sensitive now, since he's had a relationship. But, you know in the finale he's gonna hook up with that Smokin' hot sorority chick!

OK, turtle is growing up, but he's Borrrrring! I miss his hats, kicking back with the guys. I'd like to see a change w JLS away. Maybe pair him & Drama in a raunchy business proposition & let's see more of LA!!

Ever since I saw Season two I thought they should shoot more episodes involving USC girls. I heard from the "other side" that it's filmed at UCLA. BOOOOOOO.

But to involve college girls and a sorority was genius. Too bad the execution of the concept was horrific.

Nobody noticed him checking out the other girl when he has Jamie Lynn? I didn't really buy into the whole jealousy thing when Jamie dropped Turtle off at college either. Not sure where this is heading but they made his character kind of boring this past episode. I thought the whole underwear thing the previous episode was hilarious.

I find that Turtle is bored. He is seeking outside approval all episode asking "What should I do with this or that?"

He used to be cocky and I'm not against his change at all. But he definitely looks bored out of his mind.

Turtle is beginning to turn around to his lovable self again somewhat. We have had hints from the writers. He possibly is finding college hard (it is), especially Business college. I am unsure where the storyline will go with that now. With JLS going away, some of Turtle will go back to being Turtle again.

Sabre had mentioned first on another thread that it would be fun to have Turtle back into music. Yes, most definitely. A club owned by the guys with Turtle in charge of the music, DJ, and all other capacities of it; adding some underground music would be fantastic. Throw in a amateur night with LA's unknown local musicians competing their beats and music. The writers could do so much with that whole music and club thing. VIP rooms are great too. A line wrapped around the club, and envisioning Drama choosing who comes in, LOL.

Letshugitout is right on the money, Turtle used to be exciting as an obnoxious a-hole with a heavy accent who would make any girl in his vicinity cringe. His lines have gone way downhill and now wears sweatervests and acts polite and shows respect and doesn't even glance at other girls. His old ways of making advances toward girls who are light years out of his league are gone. Now apparently he just goes to class and gets shy and embarrassed when he finds out sorority girls pranked him. Either writers were replaced or they forgot who Turtle the character actually is

Hi letshugitout,
I miss hearing that letshugitout from Ari, nice reminder with your screenname.

Since i am a girl, i may have a different take on this then guys. Here it goes. This is the first real serious relationship Turtle has had on the show. I think the writers are trying to show us that, his changes. I think he is growing and we are seeing that. However, i SO agree, you can be a responsible adult, but still be yourself-real & fun. I hope we see his triumphant statements and scenarios again too. Jamie is the type of girlfriend that will allow him to be himself. She loved him when he was the Turtle we fell in love with- funny, real, too the point, and unemployed. You have to become goal oriented at some point though, but you can still keep all the other facets intact. I agree totally with you with the hope of seeing the fun traits back with Turtle. A real Business college is a lot of work, even on line. I am unsure how they can spin the fun again with all the work, projects and deadlines; we will see.

I love Turtle, but honestly to me, Turtle has kind of been acting like a little pussy in season 6. He's been more whiny than ever. I miss the old Turtle in the first few seasons. I know he's been growing and maturing more, but he's been more nagging and whining too much this season. I love Jamie Lynn Sigler, but it doesn't mean you have to be less of man just cuz ur in a serious relationship. I just hope that the writers bring back a little more of the old turtle in future episodes.

Turtle is definitely "real". He has made many changes. It would be nice for him and Jamie to have more romance and touching between them; like two people who love each other would. Haven't seen too much there yet. He has transformed in his clothing a lot lately. Should be interesting what he wears for campus life; Business Administration. They need to really play with his wardrobe for that. Love his character too!
